This Wingate had very nice rooms.

Everything! The grounds were kept spotless including smoking areas. Plenty of outdoor space for walking and close to great restaurants.

Nothing. Everything from the check-in process to the staff (thank you Crystal, Amanda, Carly, Holly, Chris and the housekeeping staff!) They made us feel welcome and took time to welcome us to the area and hotel. Unfortunately, we were there for a week for a funeral, and the staff took absolutely wonderful care of us. They were kind, considerate and caring. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again.

Our room and the facility left a lot to be desired in cleanliness and upkeep. Our room had cracks in the drywall, peeling wallpaper, dirt in places, not to mention the spider I killed in the bathroom. Hallway and stairs were dirty and stained, as well as an unpleasant odor in our hallway. Breakfast was also disappointing with scrambled eggs having an odd smell and taste. Maybe something else was cooked in the pan and it wasn’t properly cleaned, but didn’t eat. My husband took a cinnamon roll, which was clearly burnt, and after one bite, left due to taste and very hard texture. These should have never been served. We would have addressed issues at checkout but the young woman behind the counter didn’t even bother to ask about our stay. I’m also extremely disappointed with Booking.com for offering this hotel as a suitable accommodation. I have used Booking.com in the past and considered you to have professional expertise, but will be hesitant to use in the future.

The only positive was that the night receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a very run down hotel. Carpet in halls is so stretched out that it rolls with you as you push the filthy luggage cart. Carpet on stairs is filthy/stained and should be replaced. Terrible smell in entry. We were in room 208. The door hinge on top was off so we had to lift the door up and push it each time to close. The floor was drastically sloped so when getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom you had to hold on to the bed so as not to fall. No phone outlets by bed. No USB outlets. We just needed a place to sleep so did just that and got out early. For $179, I expected much better.

The breakfast was OK. They allowed me to park my motorcycle under the covered entranceway. This kept my motorcycle out of the rain and gave me an add since of security.

The sink and shower had slow drain

Booking person hung up on me when trying to fix the date and was a little rude

Old and tired. Rug on stairs filthy. Door to room very difficult to close and very noisy. Bathroom door VERY noisy. Upgrade the plastic utensils in dining area.

My reservation was not available, facilities were worn and rough around the edges, people drinking in the parking lot, no complimentary water, etc

It was clean. The staff was friendly.

The room needed a SERIOUS upgrade. The furniture was all chipped and broken. The bathroom ceiling looked like it had caved in. The shower head only half worked and the tub didn’t drain. The toilet seat was cracked.

Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay, although it needed more additions, like home fries or hash browns.

Made complaint the night of check in about refrigerator not working. we were there for 2 nights and 3 days and no-one came to fix or replace it. Room was not clean, and requested cleaning while we were gone the entire day and no-one came to clean. I would give the hotel a 4.8 rating. Better off staying at the Motel 6.

Close to the highway

Grimy, broken fixtures, the stopper for the bathroom sink was corroded and nasty and lying next to the sink. There was no way to actually use it. When the the front desk called our room and I went to answer, the phone literally came apart in my hand. This facility is a dump. It’s also depressing. I would stay almost anywhere else besides this place.

Bed linen was not changed. We had to wait for the front desk personnel to have the sheets changed. The housekeeping didn't do their job right. Limited choice of breakfast; Hot water was lukewarm.

Easy to find. Good value. Breakfast was complete.
