The toilet wouldn't flush, so I had to switch rooms and that toilet didn't flush without removing the lid and manually moving the valve. The shower curtain rod was broken and the curtain wouldn't stay closed, so it sprayed water all over the floor. There was no vent fan functioning either so it made the whole room into a rain forest. The ice machine is out of order, the candy machine empty, the drink machine was out of order and the back door nearest the room doesn't open from the outside.

Having people drinking alcohol outside my window when trying to sleep. Has occurred more than once in the past.

I liked the location - near everything. Great price. Great staff. And nice and CLEAN.

The key never worked and we left early do to not being able to sleep cause we where all itching bad while laying in bed

Beds were comfy and hotel was super clean.

The pool was out of order which was a bummer because we girls packed our bathing suits and were excited to swim when we got there and no coffee maker!

I had no hot water and there was no one to talk to about the issue.

The location was near everything, several really good restaurants right in the parking lot and Walmart was right across the street, a Casey’s convenience store was also in the parking lot, very quiet and peaceful no shady characters hanging around

The back door didn’t work

Pillows were awful and the lighting was way too dim.

I really wanted to give Motel 6 a 10 out of 10 rating, but I couldn't. First of all I was really impressed with this Motel 6. I stayed in room 303 on the third floor. They have upgraded the rooms but have not upgraded the windows and they are still metal framed windows that have seen their day. My metal framed window was caulked closed to keep the wind out. But it was also missing one of the weep covers so the wind just came right in. I kept my heater on at 80 and it kept the room about 75. I also plugged the weep hole with toilet paper and that made a difference also. Unfortunately while I was there for a week, there was also a construction crew there on the top floor that seemed to have rented out most of the rooms. Every morning at around 6:30, people were talking loudly in the hallway, doors were being slammed, etc. There was no courtesy or to be respectful of other guests that might still be sleeping. It was almost like they didn't even think about other people. Extremely glad that I brought my earplugs. : ) There is no coffee in the rooms but they do have coffee that you can get down in the lobby every morning, and that's what I did. I paid $450 roughly for a room for a week and I thought for the price even with the disruptions, that it was very worth it. I would stay here again but I probably would request to stay on the first or second floors instead. (They must put their long-term customers up on the third floor.) The staff was very, very friendly. : )

The room was comfortable and clean. There was no breakfast served but we knew there wouldn’t be. There was coffee in the lobby until 10:00

Cleaning staff was helpful and respectful. Night shift front desk guy is always super chill. Clean rooms, good pricing, good location for commuting to Denison or Sherman

Vending machines are kinda whack. But there’s literally a gas station 50 steps next door lol

The room's aesthetics need a minor upgrade. Painting would be good start.
