The hotel is small, well furnished and very comfortable. Well located for short walk into town. Host Marshall was very welcoming and helpful

Nothing to dislike

The staff was just the 2 owners which made it personal. They accommodated any asks I had. They weren’t in our face with questions or concerns. But if I needed anything they were right there to help us.

The door going in to the establishment was not well thought out. I bruised my finger unlocking the door because it got caught on the storm door frame. The door know and lock set are too close to the storm door frame and as I opened the door it caught the frame and pinched my finger bad. It affected me the whole time there was also,the bathtub would not hold water for a bath. So no tub time. Fireplaces don’t work which was a shame but we were fine with the heat we got.

We loved everything about the room and the location.

When booking the room, we picked the option "breakfast included", so we paid for breakfast. However, when arriving in the room, we found a note telling us that the hotel didn't serve breakfast anymore with a coupon (10%) for some breakfast spots in the village. I totally understand their reasons for not serving breakfast anymore, but what I don't understand is not communicating about it. When you pay for something, you expect that service, or a refund for that service. We also didn't see any staff when checking in, so we couldn't ask anything about it. When I messaged the owner about a compensation, the owner ignored my message. Again, we totally understand things might change, but it's only decent to communicate in advance.

The bathroom was the size of an airplane bathroom. The room was tiny too.

The property shouldn't be marketed as a B&B, because there are no services, just 5 bedrooms in a building.
