Lack luster

The location is great.

The elevator was a miss, with it not working majority of our stay. Having us take the stairs 9 floors which was not fun. Facilities were very basic, nothing notable. Different floors had construction which led to objects of variety being left cluttered in the hallway, making navigation hard. Plugs in the rooms did not work or were finicky with the way they were being used. Overall disappointing but the location made it easy to avoid the stay for most days.

The location was nice for shopping and eatery spots!

The room was small they did not have double rooms w double beds. Only 1 small room with double beds for 4 people, and on this website was false advertising or worded very wrong.

Awesome as always.

This is my go to hotel everytime I’m in Chicago. The staff are always nice, the rooms are nice and always very clean. The beds are big and comfortable and having a fridge and microwave in the room is such a convenience.

It was a really tight space with minimal walking around room. Its definitely cozy. The walls are thin and another guests baby kept screaming all night long, so that made it difficult to sleep well.

Very small room and bathroom. Tv wouldn’t work. Main door was shorter than frame so could hear everything from the hallway. No hot water for shower for an entire 12 hours. Bathroom slider door wouldn’t stay shut.

Magnificent location next to magnificent mile.

The property was in a great location, close to magnificent mile and all downtown attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

This isn’t really a complaint because we made do, but the room could’ve been a bit bigger as we were a group of 4 adults . However, unless you plan to spend a trip in the room, it isn’t really a big problem.

The location was fantastic. Area is great to walk around. Bed was very, very comfortable.

I just was expecting a little bit bigger room and/or amenities for the price I paid. For instance, there was no luggage rack to put luggage on. Coffee machine in room was meh. Noise level...it isn't for light sleepers: you hear sirens and you hear doors being shut, but i slept fine.

Right at the heart of so many things. Within walking distance to many key areas. Comfy and clean rooms.

Rooms were a very tight fit. Really meant for just a place to sleep and not hang around in. Bring ear plugs as the city noises of sirens and loud cars easily go through windows.

The location is really nice ! The beds were comfortable, but squeaky box springs. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The room was very small. For what we were there for though, it really was a great stay and the location wins overall.

Too small space. No surface to put anything. No fridge to save left overs and drinks. Tea bags for guests looks very old and worn out. No replacement of coffee pots unless requested.

the rooms, lobby, and hallways were VERY small and crowded. Pictures made it look more spacious. very crammed & a little outdated. especially for how expensive.

Leave barn doors for the barn

In Chicago near where we needed to be.

Barn doors on the bathroom seem to be more and more in hotels, but they just are terrible! No one can understand why hotel management agrees to have them installed. No privacy, every sound is heard, especially when there is no exhaust fan, which can only lead to other things coming from the bathroom...ugh!

The location is perfect for getting around Chicago. Right off the miracle mile. The beds were firm but comfortable.

The room had 2 twins but it was so tight you couldn’t get between the walls and the beds. And the space between was just large enough for the nightstand. The plugs in the night stand must have been loose or the internal breaker kept tripping. There was a small reset button on the strip that would return power but immediately stop charging anything plugged into it. There was no place to sit or space to set anything off the floor.

Great service, pricing, area, and room

The staff were very friendly and helpful, great conversationalists as well. The area is good, lots of food places in walking distance, as well as the hotel restaurant (that we didn't end up using). There's also a parking garage right across the street, though it's not ideal when staying longer than a night because the prices are pretty high. The room we received was very clean, and had a good view of the city. The bathroom was on the small side, but we were a group of three staying for a night, so it worked just fine.

The parking garage was expensive but that's not the hotels fault. I had a lovely experience!

The location of the property was excellent.

The rooms were so small for a family. The air conditioning hardly worked. It ran the whole time and our room only got warmer. Instead of coming back to a nice cool, relaxing hotel room, we found it was more stressful than anything.

The hotel itself was an overall good, not great, stay within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicag

Beautiful finishings in the lobby and it was pet friendly for $50 extra. The bed was very comfortable and the finishes in the room were fairly modern, with a nice shower and well-lit bathroom. Valet parking was available for our vehicle for an additional $72 per night. Valet staff was very friendly as well. While we didn’t try it, the hotel also boasted a full restaurant and bar.

If you have more than just a bag per person, it was a HUGE hassle to get up and down the hotel’s elevator (two elevators for 16 floors). We got packed up an hour early prior to our checkout time and that entirety was spent waiting for an elevator for the luggage cart. The elevators are also smaller than your average hotel elevator, so that was an added challenge. The hallways and elevator felt damp (like a basement) as well, so while waiting for the elevator, it was easy to break a sweat.

Elevators were scary, 2 small elevators with a 5 person limit and people were always trying to push it by letting excess people in. It also appeared inconvenient for the staff trying to clean and having to use the same 2 elevators. They weren’t able to fit with the bins or carts they used so they had to wait.
