Nothing was excellent

The property was very charming upon arrival to the house. We were staying in the annex side of the property. Very spacious feel, the kitchen has the most amazing fireplace, high ceilings and the sofabed was perfect for our children to stay upon. The main bedroom was huge with plenty of wardrobe space, a big four poster bed added more charm to the property. The bathroom was well equipped with hairdryer and double vanity sinks. The boys loved having a bath and the shower was immaculate. Edna the host was incredibly welcoming and thorough upon arrival and departure, she was so kind and helpful with location and property details. The location of the property is excellent and the town of Sarlat was a mere 12min walk up a straight road, perfect for families to go explore on foot. Thank you Edna!!

Our only comment would be there was limited outside space for the boys to play / run around but that’s reaching as overall we loved the properly & location.

Just outside the centre of Sarlat so avoids road congestion into the town and easy walk to the centre. Good base for visiting Dordogne villages & gardens. Restaurants nearby and shops plus Lidl for dining at the property
