Less than 8 km from the famous XV-XVII century walls that surround Lucca's city centre, in the Lucchese hillside is a beautiful Villa affectionately called Home Hill.
Home Hill is a spacious Villa that contains 4 luxury apts plus a penthouse suite where the owners live. The 4 apts have been tastefully decorated using primary colors such as Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. Each apt has it's own private terrace area, 2 bedrooms, sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom.
An upscale feature of the Yellow and Green apts is the possibility of being adjoined, creating a really large apt with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths to accommodate large parties that vacation together.
Home Hill overlooks a lovely garden of about 2.5 acres where sits an AMAZING swimming pool with an adjacent wading pool for sunbathing and a waterfall.
What's having an amazing pool without a POOL HOUSE! The POOL HOUSE has been designed with its spacious living and dining room where playing board games, reading, dining and watching your favorite sports game LIVE is welcomed, followed by a fully-equipped kitchen to prepare family get-together meals and 3 full bathrooms with showers. Outside the Pool House is also an outdoor pizza oven and BBQ area where you can enjoy dining al fresco or host dinner parties.

Our stay at Home Hill Holiday was beyond amazing. The setting is incredible. The apartments are spacious, beautifully appointed, all equipped with full kitchens and luxurious bathrooms. The communal space with pool, bath house and full kitchen and large eating area made dining together easy, beautiful and relaxing. The pool area is breathtaking.
Everything has been thought of from pots and pans and cutting boards to olive oil, of course, and salt and pepper. The owners, Loredana and Alessando, are so gracious. The best pizza of the trip was had by the villa owner himself throwing a pizza party for all of us. And we were even able to make our American coffee while still having Classic Italian espresso.
I was really happy to have rented the whole villa with friends and family and have it all to ourselves. There's a great restaurant that uses a wood burning oven for their pizzas across the street and a gelateria very close as well. The two banks just next door and a small grocery market within walking distance make it easy to get what is needed with little effort. If you like to walk or hike, there are great paths into the mountains where you can see some historical villas and even go wine tasting. Rent a car or get car service and you are inside the city walls of Lucca in 10 minutes.
There is also lots to do beyond going to the beautiful walled city of a Lucca or lounging by Home Hill's incredible pool. Tanya, the property manager was amazing in arranging wine tours in Montecarlo, bringing in a private chef to cook for us one night which was one of the best meals of my life, and getting into Lucca to hear the Puccini opera in the main piazza.
The bottom line: this was an incredible, authentic and unique 2 week Tuscan get-away.

We spent two weeks in this wonderful property. It's a perfect place to relax and a great startingpoint for sightseeing in Tuscany. Homehill is a beautyful villa with clean, well maintained, tastefully decorated rooms. The property is lovely; a great swimming pool in a beautiful large garden. Our hosts were hospitable and very friendly, giving help when needed.
I can recommend renting this villa to anyone, it's a fabulous place

In August we have spent a lovely time at the Homehill property. The pictures on the website match the real thing. We have rented two of the appartments, the red and blue appartement. When you arrive at the property and drive up the hill there is a lot of space. There is so much space. You don't realize that when you see the pictures on the website. It gives you a relaxing feeling and it's wonderfull for children to play and run around.
When you park you car you can see the big pool and poolhouse on your left side. The house is big and has four appartments and a penthouse where the owners stay. We have had a great stay in the red and blue appartments. The appartments are nicely decorated and very well furnished. Everything is taken care of in the appartments. All the equipment you need to cook and stay in the appartment is there. The appartments, the poolhouse as well as the property were very clean and well-maintained. The pool is very big and clean. The poolhouse is very comfortable and with a big kitchen a nice place to stay together.
One of us had an accident during our holiday and the owner was very kind and accompanied us to the first aid. During your stay you are almost not aware that they live in the penthouse. But when you need them they are there!
There is a lot to do in the area. Lovely places as Florence, Lucca, Siena etcetera. The possibilities are endless. One of the great advantages we found of this place that you can also go to the beach within 45 minutes.
We had a wonderfull stay at Homehill and recommend this house to other future guests!
