Charming apartment 4/6 people, Serre Chevalier 1400 m 3 *, WIFI

Couldn’t ask for a better location for access to the chair lifts and mountains, located in the lovely and quite old part of town.Hosts always responded promptly, everything was advertised correctly with no issues.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment for two weeks in March 24. We are a family of four including our two daughters in their twenties. The location of the apartment is Fantastic , a short walk to the ski slopes and a short walk to some lovely restaurants and bars. The Apartment is very well equipped and we arrived to a lovely clean apartment. Communication was excellent with the owner from the beginning of booking to the end of our stay. I would recommend this fabulous apartment and we will definitely be returning.

A few easy minutes to get to Aravet so ideal for skiing. This upside down apartment is located on the same level as the access road and two floors up on the back. You enter via a hall into an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. This is fine for two people or two people plus two young kids, however there is only one (rather uncomfortable over time) sofa and a small tv. Combined with a large table that easily fits 6 people and space can get a little limited. TBH a smaller table and a normal sofa (not a sofa bed) would make more sense as six would be very tight. The bedrooms are on the floor below as well as the bathroom. Bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom and shower are good (again a little tight for space). The overall finish is good and there are a few nice touches such as the very comfortable loungers on the balcony (we brought them in and used them instead of the sofa). The kitchen is a good spec and the WiFi is very quick (80/80 fibre). You can buy your bread in the very close Boulangerie (although not on Mondays for some reason), and the no.6 bus to Braincon is very handy for a better shopping experience at Leclerc (cheaper and lots to choose from). Communications with the owner and local cleaner area bit tricky as they don't speak much English. On the last night we were asked if we wanted to clean the apartment ourselves or pay 50 euros. This was a surprise as I don't think it had not been mentioned before. Overall a good choice for couples or smaller families.
