Little House Near St Cirq Lapopie

The property and hosts are wonderfully charming. It is situated in Cregol which is very close to several villages w grocery stores, cafes, tabacs, boulangeries, restaurants and charm! The house is fully equipped including a washing machine, grill and 2 separate patios for dining “al fresco. It is France so you’re incredibly reliant on cool evenings to help cool down the bedrooms on upper level, but the several windows tucked all over house make for great cross breezes. Fantastic access to walking, cycling trails and river access for picnics. It’s a wonderfully authentic Lot Valley experience and the hosts are SO HELPFUL.

We spent a week at Serge and Michelle's lovely gite as a family of 5 (grown children of 15, 19 and 20). The house was lovely, had everything we needed and in a super beautiful setting. Just a 3 min drive from the river beach at the bottom of St Cirq Lapopie, Peche Merle caves about 15 mins away and lots of things going on locally as it was July. Our hosts only spoke French but we worked it all out and they were very warm and welcoming.

Très belle maison bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et avenants. Excellent séjour

I can honestly say that the Gite was superb and the owners were really lovely and friendly. Despite them not speaking English ands not speaking French very well, they interacted with us very well. The surrounding area was beautiful. We were the first English to go the the Gite and would definitely recommend that those you do not speak English to not be too bothered about the language as the wife of the owner, knew a small amount of English..
