I had to call 5 minutes before i got there just to get the code. -The kitchen was dirty. Dirty sink, dirty broiler pan left in the oven (full of old grease) Old ice left in the freezer which I had to put in the sink to melt. It left a white film in the sink. There were 2 coffee cups which hadn't been washed, but they were put on the shelf. Kitchen floor was sticky.-The deck looked like it hadnt been cleaned. Much less swept. Branches all over, table and chairs were dirty. Had to clean them before sitting. -King size mattress pad was gross with stains.-Bathroom had toothpaste stuck on vanity, clearly hadnt been cleaned.

Really enjoyed the stay here! It’s just a few minutes away from some great places to eat. Convenient to gainbridge Fieldhouse and Lucas oil stadium. Comfortable beds and a unique basement common area.

It was convenient and clean. My only complaint would be that the upstairs bedrooms need room darkening window treatments. The car wash next door had very bright lights which made it very hard to go to sleep.

The location of the house is great. Very convenient to all of the major sites in Indianapolis. The host was very gracious and responded to communications quickly. We had expected 4 bedrooms, but at first we thought there were only 3. Then as we investigated the basement level and the laundry area, we found the 4th bedroom tucked behind the laundry area. The carpets seemed old and were a bit musty. Overall, the house was very nice. We really only slept there because our days were full at a conference.

Close to just about everything. It was for a Colts game, not a race. I imagine it would be crazy during a race. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. House was homey and quaint. Will look to book on another trip when we watch the Colts beat the Steelers or any opponent!

I found the home to be perfect for our needs. It was clean, well appointed with anything we could possibly need and very relaxed. My one criticism is the tv. Surely it would be possible to get cable in there to be able to watch live sports such as pro and college foorball.

Plenty of room for a group of friends to spend the weekend. The layout of the house worked great. The downstairs bathroom while quirky works great for getting ready in the morning. We used all areas of the house, the basement for games, the upstairs living room for chatting. Plenty of room for 6 without feeling cramped. The view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the pagoda are priceless. The ease of getting to shops and restaurants made the trip very enjoyable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

So neat to be right by the track. They just so happened to have fireworks the weekend we were there and those were neat to watch right from the deck. Very well decorated and cozy atmosphere. The steps to the basement were a little squeaky but we made it into an inside joke during the stay, something funny to remember :) would highly recommend.

There was plenty of space for 6 of us to spread out yet gather round the table or the basement bar to spend some time together. Although the downstairs has an interesting set-up (shower in laundry room and bathroom in another location), we were so grateful to have two toilets and two showers. The kitchen is a nice size, the beds are comfortable, and we loved having the Speedway in the backyard, even when not race weekend. Downtown is just a few blocks away with some great restaurants, too. It was a comfortable place to stay!

The home is located in a great location- super close to the speedway and just a short jaunt to downtown Indy. My only complaint is that there was only 1 channel on the TV that worked, besides the infomercial channels. We were hoping to watch a movie or show to wind down before bed, but there was nothing to watch. I suggest you bring a firestick or something if you want to watch TV to wind down. We weren't in the house much as we had many planned activities, but it was well kept and comfortable.

When you want to just walk to the Indianapolis 500, then this is a place to consider. Yes, the price is HIGH during the race week, and the quality of the finishes in the basement bedrooms left us wondering (bare concrete floor - no windows). What we spent for convenience was offset by bbqing on the mini-charcoal grill on the deck, and purchasing sharp knives to complement the lack of same in the kitchen. BTW, there is no mention in the listing that the owners fill every available space in the yards - front & back - with parked cars early on Friday & Saturday mornings. That awareness did arrive with our confirmation letter. They do make sure to keep the driveway open for the tenants - good form! But that's not really an issue, you're at the track! If it was your place, you'd probably be doing the very same thing. Just keep in mind that during the rest of the year this place rents for $100 to $150 a night - for good reason! Our hostess was readily available via the VRBO messaging service, and even helped with a new smoker/bbq - that we assembled! Unfortunately, we became aware that it was taken off of the deck after we checked out - but that's another story - suffice it to say, we were treated fairly in the end. There were five of us, and we did enjoy our own company immensely! Come and have a Good Time, and walk to the track - it's in your backyard!

We did have 8 adults with us, so we need to use the entire house. Upstairs was great. Downstairs was a concern. The bathroom downstairs is oddly shaped so your knees hit the wall when using toilet. The shower hidden in the laundry room is in need of a serious overhaul. Not clean enough for bare feet. We found great restaurants and was easy to get around. We left early as it was hard for 8 adults to share the only full bathroom in the house.
