About this chalet rental
We offer 2 cottages (100m between the 2)
can accommodate from 2 to 6 people for the chalet
and from 2 to 7 people for the apartment in our chalet with an independent entrance
all on a plot of 80 ares on the edge of meadows and mountain views
Located in BIRKENWAL,
very pretty village in pink Vosges style with 280 inhabitants.
there is a 16th century castle,
a natural park of deer and deer.
as well as two gourmet restaurants to make you
discover our Alsatian specialties.
Ideal for nature lovers: mountain biking and walking tours
In the center of the village: pétanque court and playground,
All amenities (bakeries, press, supermarkets ... are 5 km in the village of Marmoutier.
Near tourist sites: Abbey of Marmoutier, Château des Rohans in Saverne, Le Massif du Dabo, Nideck waterfall, Lutzelhouse inclined plane ... and Strasbourg at 30 km

We stayed four days and it was great. Our dog loved the fenced yard, and the host was so kind and giving.

We had a great stay in Thierry’s property. The chalet is not the newest but everything is super clean and well equipped.
Staying with 6 people as advertised is, in our view, only possible if you are there with kids. The property has one bedroom and the other beds are in the living room.
For people who are after a super relaxing break, this place is the one. It’s equally suited for people who love hiking, cycling or walking with or without dogs.
Even if you just want to relax and have dogs, the property is perfect. Whilst you relax your dogs will have a ball in the huge fenced garden.
There are plenty of restaurants around all within 7-10 kms. Small shops are very close, great bakeries as well as butchers. If you want to buy your groceries from a large supermarket, you will have to drive for about 10km.
All in all we can only recommend Thierry as a landlord and his property for a super relaxing holiday.
