About this cottage rental
Located at 1300 meters altitude, the Domaine du Fâ is the ideal place for an unforgettable stay, at the rate of the mountain.
Karine, Aubin and Mathias welcome you in any season on their domain. Your animals are welcome. The cottage must be left clean when you leave. The domain U Fâ is composed of a farmhouse of the eighteenth century completely renovated; two perfectly equipped cottages - "The school" and "the postman" - as well as a bed and breakfast surrounded by fields and a chestnut grove invite you to relax at the feet of its old trees. At sunset, you will probably have the chance to hear the deer barking or see the deer grazing on the edge of the forest.
The more adventurous can also discover the picturesque "nest of love": a cottage accessible after a hike to the hamlet of Aurent.
The Domaine du Fâ is near the Mercantour National Park, the medieval village of Entrevaux (Cité Vauban) or Annot - the "country of sandstone", ranked among the "Cities and villages of characters."
Many activities are possible throughout the year: hiking along the farmer's routes or exploring GR, horseback riding or mountain biking, swimming, climbing, canyoning, canoeing and paragliding, or jump to the elastic, tennis, horse riding, discovery of the region aboard the steam train "Train des Pignes" in summer or snowshoeing in winter ...
Karine can offer you a pottery workshop with family or friends. Cleaning is to be done or you can book it before your stay for 50 €.

The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, multi-function oven and all the utensils and cooking robot at home. The pierrade, raclette, melted can be lent to you. Under the stairs to the 2 bedrooms is the bathroom (sink, shower, toilet).
The room "1" all in wood consists of a double bed and 2 single beds trundle. A low window opens to the South on an infinite panorama, the other window high towards the West opens on the swimming pool and the garden. The room "2" attic has 2 single beds, a window to the north.
Karine can lend you: a cot, high chair, baby bath.
She will offer you an aperitif house to discuss, guide you in your excursions or hiking all around her home.

Nous avons loué le gîte de l'école cet été.
Une superbe maison de vacances avec une vue magnifique et des équipements tout à fait correct.
La propriétaire est charmante.
Certes, le village le plus proche est à 15minutes en voiture mais cela vaut vraiment le coup.
La piscine est top après une bonne randonnee.

Ruhigste Lage praktisch am Ende eines Seitentals. Rustikale Ferienwohnung mit einer recht steilen Treppe zum OG, war jedoch kein echtes Problem für unsere Kinder (4,8 und 10). Ein Highlight was der Pool mit Weitblick ins Tal. Das Außengelände ist weitläufig, es stehen etliche Annehmlichkeiten zur Verfügung. Man kann tolle Wanderungen machen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung, Sichtung von Bartgeiern, Gänsegeiern und Steinadlern vom Frühstückstisch aus. Mit dem Auto erreicht man schöne Reiseziele. Die Gastgeberin hat uns im herzlichen Rahmen bei Aperitivs und selbstgemachten Häppchen sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Auch als Hundebesitzer waren wir mit der FeWo super zufrieden.
Wieso doch zwei Punktabzüge:
1x: Wie so häufig, fehlt in etlichen Punkten das konsequente Kümmern um die Belange der Gäste, so könnten Schränke,Regale, Haken das Verstauen der Habseligkeiten erleichtern. Einiges, was angegeben wurde gab es nicht (Handtücher, Bettwäsche dann gegen Bezahlung ...). Backofen und Internetzugang fehlten ebenfalls. Es gab sehr viele Stubenfliegen, ein Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern bei der Einangstür hätte viel geholfen. Die Sauberkeit ließ auch etwas zu wünschen übrig. Die Wohnung ist an etlichen Stellen sehr niedrig, mit meinen 1,82 hatte ich so paar Bekanntschaften machen dürfen mit Balken, Lichterketten, Türstürzen etc.
2x: Eigentlich wäre die FeWo meiner Meinung nach mit vier Sternen am besten benotet, hätte die an und für sich sehr sympathische Vermieterin an einigen Stellen doch etwas mehr Verantwortung gezeigt. Vor allem stieß es bei uns sauer auf, dass sie sich bitter beklagt hat in welch unsauberem Zustand wir die Wohnung hinterlassen hätten, wobei eine Menge definitiv sauberer hinterlassen wurde als es zu Anfang war. Sie hätte sich (im Nachhinein) gewünscht, dass wir den Kühlschrank sauberwischen unter dem Sofa nass aufwischen usw. Wir hatten schon einiges wohlwollend toleriert, und dann zum Schluss sowas - fand ich einfach unschön. Da sollte Sie unbedingt nachbessern! Ein bißchen mehr englisch oder klare schriftliche Angaben wären auch hilfreich gewesen, wie eine bessere deutsche Übersetzung der Angaben auf der FeWo-Direkt Seite. Da ist viel Google-Übersezter-Charme dabei ;-).
Alles in allem doch empfehlenswert. Wir verlebten zwei wunderbare Wochen in der FeWo!
