About this apartment rental
Very nice apartment of 55 m2, composed of an entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living dining room, a bedroom, a bathroom, WC, with private underground parking space under the building. This is really a plus when you know the parking difficulties in PERIGUEUX! During the week the free places in town are often full.
This apartment has been completely renovated and is equipped with every comfort.
Located in the city center, it is therefore close to all shops (Leclerc supermarket at 300 m), restaurants (including two Michelin stars), museums, medieval and Gallo-Roman sites and its marvelous Saint Front cathedral.
You can take long walks or cycle on the greenway that runs along the L'Isle River for several kilometers.
The historic districts will allow you to make splendid discoveries (Tour Mataguerre, rue Limogeanne, Place de la Clautre, mansions, etc ...)
In season many fun and cultural activities are offered (public concerts, jazz, gourmet markets, international festival of the same MINOS etc ...)
The markets will delight you with their numerous stalls of local products.
In the center of the Department, PERIGUEUX is the ideal starting point for visiting Périgord (Brantôme, the Venice of Périgord, prehistoric sites, castles, caves, the pretty villages of Beynac, Domme, La Roque Gageac, Sarlat, the valley Dordogne and of course internationally renowned Lascaux IV).
If you arrive by train, we will pick you up at the station and drive you back to the start.

Claude and Ginette were incredibly helpful in familiarizing us with the property and the area (groceries, markets, cafes, etc.) and provided very useful tips for negotiating local visits. They could not have been nicer. We would rebook this apartment without hesitation.

Excellent location for accessing stores, restaurants, museums and historic sites. The host was pleasant, helpful, and patient with our lack of French language skills. The apartment is spacious and thoughtfully decorated and appointed. There is a very nice collection of books. The kitchen is modern and bright with everything we needed.

Apartment was a bit dated, but overall a great location, off-site parking and the owners are so lovely and caring! Perfect for 2 people and the washer/dryer was a lifesaver. Highly recommend. Périgueux is a great town.

This was our second time staying at the apartment. It is well located - easy walking distance to E. Leclerc supermarket and to the Wednesday and Saturday markets where you can buy cheeses, fresh produce, nougat, etc. Great location for visiting Sorge, Monbazillac , etc. About an hour’s drive to Sarlat. Very good communication with hosts- you may need to use Google translate if your French is limited. Great value for the location and amenities. An older apartment. We would stay again.
