After charming mails, we were warmly welcomed to this historic family home. The house has been in the family for generations, and still retains character and features documenting the family from Verdun onward. It is located an easy walk from the village for all your needs, yet remains very quiet at night. Staying in the property is very restful, as the tiled floors keep it cool, and there are ample windows etc. to open. It's roomy. Plenty of space for probably six guests. Three beds, all of double size, spacious salon, bathroom, office room, kitchen and the loggia leading to an outside first floor terrace. The garage is beneath, and very roomy. It would probably accommodate two family cars. (Wine press included!) The loggia is thankfully at the rear of the property and hence is shaded from the midday sun, so stays comfortable. There is a small garden with olive trees across the road at the back. Lastly we must mention the view. The panorama from the loggia across the valley to St. Genies, Magalas, Puimisson and beyond is wonderful. A delight as weather moves across, constant entertainment from traffic and distant people, a platform for watching birds, sunrise, and bats at night. A huge asset. We loved our stay - we think you will too.

We had a lovely week in the house. It’s really spacious and comfortable and well equipped. We loved to sit both on the terrace with an open view and in the garden with barbeque. Easy parking in front of the house (There is also a garage). Thank you so much!

On sent que cette demeure familiale n'est pas juste une "maison à louer", on sent qu'elle vit toute l'année et cette sensation est très agréable à l'image de cette vaste maison de ville où chacun à trouver sa place, de nos enfants à notre grande chienne. Cette vieille bâtisse est très fraiche et en cas de coup de chaud, la climatisation est là. Il manque peut-être un brin de modernité au niveau de certains équipements (fer à repasser, lave-vaisselle) et le jardin n'est pas attenant donc difficilement exploitable mais l'ensemble est parfaitement cohérent et agréable avec cette grande terrasse et un jardin d'hiver tout aussi agréable. La maison est située idéalement dans un village très sympathique à 30mn de la mer et proche de nombreux sites à visiter. Bref, une maison au top et un super accueil de la propriétaire qui a su garder le sourire malgré nos 4h de retard sur l'horaire envisagé.
