A 200-sq.m manor house set in Marseille with a private swimming pool, peaceful garden with trees, full of sunlight. It has all the charm of 19th-century Provencal country houses and unobstructed views. It sleeps 10 (4 Bedrooms) and also offers four bathrooms, a dining room, a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room, shaded arbour in front of the pool. Stunning, spacious property, it is better than the photos. It is a real family home, so it has everything you need. The hosts were very welcoming. The outdoor space and pool mean you are fully entertained at the property (we took some inflatables etc). There is beautiful outdoor lighting for the evenings. We used the boulangerie down the road and used public transport to travel into Marseille. We loved Cassis (use park & ride) and also enjoyed Waterworld at Gaudrade (1.5hours away). The beaches were popular so we tended to go early or later in the day. We had a fantastic holiday at this property.

We had a magical holiday in la Bastide. The house is surrounded by the most beautiful garden filled with flowers and old trees. The house is situated on top of a hill in the middle of Marseille.So you have an amazing sight on the city and still complete serenity and silence. Kitchen bathroom and livingspace are fully equipped and the whole house has a romantic feeling. Genevieve and Jean are the most lovely people. Would highly recommend 👌❤️

We had a wonderful stay, the house is beautiful and very well equipped for our group. The pool is fabulous and we loved using the kitchen to cook. jean and genieve were the perfect hosts. even coming to check in on us and clean the pool half way through our stay. We’ll be back!

This home served as our home base for a few weeks. It is full of character and has all the comforts needed. Our stay was over a particularly hot summer, so the pool was a great bonus! The hosts are wonderful and communicate regularly. They when above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. I highly recommend this spot if you value great hosts and a comfortable stay that needs parking.

We had a fantastic weekend stay in this gorgeous house. The hosts (Genevieve and Jean-Luc) were efficient with their responses and very welcoming on arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked and the outdoor dining spaces were the perfect location for all our meals. We really enjoyed the pool and the spaces to sunbathe - a beautiful, relaxing location to enjoy with friends. We did not have a car, however the boulangerie and a butchers is easily in walking distance and we were able to use Bolt to travel to/from locations.

A truly lovley home and welcoming place to stay. Genevieve and Jean welcomed us and showed us around their beautiful home. It is really well equipped and has everyhting that you could need. It is slightly out of the main part of Marseille but has a lovely view of the hills and we found an excellent golf course just close by. Highly recommended

The property is classic and historic full of art tile mosaic floors a kitchen and outdoor cooking is set up to entertain or feed a large family. No shortage glasses plates cutlery etc. The pool is wonderful the house is on top of a hill with magnificent views. Only 15 minutes by Uber to downtown but not much near the house. If you have a family and want to shop you should rent a car. Delivery is available and we enjoyed a pizza night by the pool. We would repeat and come back.

We stayed a week in this charming villa, and were welcomed by the owners. You have a lot of privacy, safe parking that easily fits 3 cars, a wonderful swimming pool, and a garden that suites both sun and shadow seekers. The house has plenty of space and is well equipped. You also have several tables outside with plenty of chairs. We had breakfast/dinner in front of the pool, and lunch at the side of the house (sun/wind conditions). The pool has a nice size, and very well maintained, you don't smell 'swimming pool' when you enjoyed the refreshing swim. Also worthwhile mentioning: you have plenty of silverware, plates,.... and a very effective airco in the entire house. A bakery is in walking distance, but you need a car for any trip (Marseille is big!) A drive to Cassis takes about 20-30 minutes. Wifi works well at the ground floor inside the house, but your smartphone will switch to 4G in the garden. Overall: great house, we would like to return!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and spacious mansion. The pool was delightful and the gardens were perfect for sitting and relaxing during the hot days. The nearest boulangerie is a ten minute walk. The supermarket just a little further. And the centre of Marseille is just 20 minutes drive away. The hosts were very welcoming.

Les Olives is the most welcoming house - it is cool downstairs in the HOT summer of 2018 with much appreciated air conditioning. Jean and Genevieve have thought of everything to make the house perfect for holidays - a truly gorgeous swimming pool, extremely well-stocked kitchen, a vintage table football in perfect working order (many happy times spent on that) and great fans in the bedrooms. We felt honored that they would share their home with strangers and we really hope to visit again - thank you, Jean and Genevieve!!!!

We were a family of three generations that stayed in this wonderful house. A child of 4 years old, young man of 22 years, a couple of 33 years and me and my husband in our 50s. This house is perfect for big families because everybody can have their private space when needed and the shared part is absolutly wonderful. The garden is a major attraction and the swimmingpool is very good. We all reccomend a stay at this house. Our hosts gave us such a good information about what to do and what restaurant to visit. It is a must to have a car and it was much easier to drive around than we thought. We had many daytrips such as Cassis (beach trip), Cassis and Calangues, Aqualland, Aix, St Beume, visited many villages close by and had stops at markets. I would like to come again with some friends that share our interest in food and wine because there is are splendit facilities at the house to cook, the city of Marseille has many good restaurants and the county of Province has endless possibilities. Thank you for hosting us and thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place

The house is as good as we expected it based on the pictures and the description. We have been there with 4 parents and 6 children (7-14 years) for 10 days. There is by far enough space. The dining room has a big table for dinner and there is also a big living room with 3 couches to stay inside the cooled house. The kitchen has enough plates and other things like bowls, glasses, cutlery and so on, that we could prepare our breakfast lunch and dinner. Of course the garden with the wonderful pool and the several options to stay, is the highlight of this house. The children loved it to stay there and to jump into the pool. The hosts are very nice people who gave us recommendations for restaurants or other trips, and if any support was needed they were always available immediately. Thanks for 10 wonderful days in this charming house.

La propriété est superbe et ses propriétaires ultra accueillants. Seul bémol, la propriété est un peu éloignée du centre ville de Marseille et les embouteillages sont nombreux mais commerces à proximité pour faire ses courses. Nous avons passés un week-end ultra agréable sous le soleil. Pratique pour aller à Cassis car l’autoroute est assez proche. Je recommande chaudement.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans la magnifique maison familiale de Geneviève et Jean, pleine de charme et conforme à l’annonce. Geneviève et Jean se sont montrés très disponibles et à notre écoute avant même notre arrivée, un couple vraiment adorable. La communication était claire et facile. La maison possède tous les équipements nécessaires, vous n’aurez plus qu’à poser vos valises! Nous avons beaucoup profité de l’espace extérieur car la météo s’y prêtait. Je vous recommande cette maison les yeux fermés, vous vous sentirez à l’aise et au calme très rapidement, nous adorerions y revenir.

Nous avons passé quelques jours en famille et la maison nous a fait oublié le mauvais temps. Les enfants se sont baignés, ont joué dans tous les coins et nous nous en avons profité pour manger et rattraper le temps perdu. Les hôtes sont irréprochables.

Nous venons de passer 15 jours en famille et avec des amis dans un cadre magique. La maison non seulement est superbe mais très confortable et très bien équipée. La piscine s’inscrit parfaitement dans le paysage. Le jardin est suffisamment grand pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres. En résumé, un séjour magique et nous avons hâte de pouvoir réitérer l’expérience. Un grand merci aux charmants propriétaires.

Wir waren mit Familie und Freunden zwei Wochen im September in diesem wunderbaren Domizil. Das Haus hat ein tolle Ausstrahlung und Ausstattung. Hohe Decken und große, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Räume (Speiseraum und Wohnzimmer) laden mit schönen Möbeln zum Verweilen ein. Ein Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und zweitem Kühlschrank macht die Versorgung von bis zu 10 Person leicht möglich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, vor allem der große Gasherd macht Freude am Kochen. In der oberen Etage befinden sich 4 sehr schöne Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt 10 Schlafplätzen, jeweils mit eigener Dusche und Waschbecken und tollen Blick in den schönen Garten und die Umgebung. Beistellbetten für Kleinkinder sind vorhanden. Auf dem Grundstück befinden sich mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten für bis zu 10 Personen, ein sehr hochwertiger Gasgrill und ein guter Kohlegrill laden ein zum Grillen und braten. Tolles Schwimmbad und Gartenanlage. Ideal für einen Familienurlaub oder Urlaub mit Freunden in einem hochwertigen Ambiente. In die Stadtmitte zum Hafen sind es mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln 30 min. Es gibt direkt vor Ort vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die aber allerdings mit dem Auto getätigt werden müssen. Meine Familie und meine Freunde waren total begeistert. Danke an die Familie Le Moign, dass sie dieses tolle Haus zur Verfügung stellen!!
