About this house rental
PUERTA GRANDE is a lovingly and individually restored village house, quiet and idyllic located in the upper antique part of the white village of Montejaque. The cozy house with a large patio is surrounded by an old stone wall. The lemon tree in the middle of the patio bears fruit all year round.
Inside the house there is a bedroom with double bed, a living area with a cozy large sofa corner, and the kitchen with a small "bar", which is integrated in the living area.
The bathroom with shower and toilet is also in the front area of the house.
For reading enthusiasts there is an appealing selection of German literature available.
PUERTA GRANDE is located in the most beautiful part of the white village (Pueblo Blanco) of Montejaque, in the middle of the magnificent mountain scenery of the Sierra de Grazalema in the National Park of Libar, not far from the famous Andalusian town of Ronda (15 km).
Montejaque is an ideal place to relax and attracts many nature lovers and hikers.
You can even without a car directly from the village in the nature draw, numerous signposted hiking trails begin in Montejaque, z. B to Grazalema, Ronda, Cortes de la Frontera or Jimera de Libar.
By car it is 1.5 hours in Seville old town, 1 hour in Jerez de la Frontera, 1.5 hours in Malaga,
2h in Granada or 1h in Marbella. In the village there are numerous tapas bars, restaurants, in the summer months a fantastically located swimming pool, as well as small Tiendas, in which one can provide well with local products. Two banks with ATMs are located in the village center.
If you want to spend your holiday in a typical Andalusian ambience, without being permanently surrounded by tourists, you will feel at home here. PUERTA GRANDE is located in the quiet upper part of Montejaques where no cars can drive through the picturesque streets, and is ideal to just unwind.

Prachtige, sfeervolle plek in leuk en mooi gelegen dorp en schitterende omgeving. Alleen te voet bereikbaar langs zeer steile dorpsstraatjes dus wel even zeulen met bagage. Wij vonden het er verrukkelijk ondanks voor voorseizoen gebrekkige verwarming, eenvoudige keuken en sanitair. Helaas functioneerde de WiFi niet toen wij er waren. Aanbevolen maar o.i. wat minder geschikt voor wie hoge eisen aan comfort stelt.

Schönes kleines Haus im Herzen des kleinen Weilers Montejaque. Der kleine Patio lädt zum Verweilen an heißen Tagen ein und hier kann man die Ruhe des Ortes genießen. Man ist jedoch auch in ein bis eineinhalb Stunden in den größeren Städten von Andalusien wie Sevilla, Cádiz oder Marbella.
Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr nette Dame. Angenehme Gespräche sind also Standard. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man einen ruhigen, authentischen Urlaub fernab des Touri-Rummels präferiert.

La casa de Elke es muy bonita y acogedora, nos sentimos cómodos nada más entrar por la puerta. Pasamos unos días muy agradables en pareja en el apartamento y en Montejaque.
Desde el pueblo se pueden hacer varias rutas de senderismo y esta muy cerca de Ronda y de otros lugares de interés. Toda la zona de la sierra merece mucho la pena.
Repetiremos!
