Great location and very secure accommodation.

Air con in the larger bedroom struggled but the 2nd room was fantastically cool. The temperature outside wasnintense during our stay so It would not put me off staying again.

We had a wonderful stay at this location in Verona! The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with every amenity we needed. The location was unbeatable — just a short walk to all the historical sights, so we could explore the city easily. The host was fantastic: warm, welcoming, and always quick to answer any questions we had.

Sehr zentral gelegen, sehr ruhig

It was a very central apartment: 3 minutes' walk from Casa di Giulietta and 4-5 minutes' walk from Piazza delle Erbe. In spite of been so central, the apartment was very quiet at night and we were able to sleep quite well. Besides it was very clean. On the the day we were to leave Verona, the owner let us keep the luggage in the apartment until the afternoon, which was something we really appreciated. And finally, even if we never met the owner, he was kind and showed interest in our wellbeing by sending a Whatsapp message.

The flat was pretty old with old floors and windows, it had little charm and it was quite basic in general. The kitchen was fine but we missed a microwave, a frying pan, some kitchen cloths or tea towels and some minor kitchen utensils. Regarding the bedrooms, one of them was a proper bedroom. It had very old furniture but was quite comfortable. However, the other bedroom was actually a living or sitting room that had been turned into a bedroom-living room by adding a small bed and a bunk bed. I slept in the normal bed, which was not too comfortable and had a noisy slatted bed base. As it didn't have bedside table, I had to use the only chair in the room as bedside table. There wasn't a lamp either. As it was also a living room, there were a small sofa and a small table on top of which there was a television. We got used to it but it was not what we had expected when we reserved the apartment on Booking for two people in two different bedrooms. The apartment was quiet because the neighbours were basically quiet, especially at night, but there was no soundproofing because we used to hear people sometimes during the day. We have been to places with soundproofing and we know the difference. This is more a flat for students than the first-class apartment that was publicized on Booking. And it is overpriced. We had just been to Venice where we stayed in a wonderful soundproofed two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Castello, 20 minutes' walk from Piazza San Marco, and we paid the same price as for Il Balcone de Giulietta in Verona.
