We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vilma’s home in Cusco. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean and full of warm, homely charm. Vilma responded promptly when we arrived. She greeted us, opened the door and helped carry our luggage inside. The breakfast was delicious. What makes this place truly special is the genuine home‑away‑from‑home feeling she creates. She provided us with all kinds of useful information and storage services. She arranged a reasonably‑priced taxi for my daughter for her 4:50 a.m. early‑morning departure. She was flexible enough to receive us very late and see us off early in the morning. When we ran into serious trouble at Puerto Maldonado airport, staff from TALMA S.A. — specifically supervisor Irma Isabel Zegarra Almonte — double‑charged us for checked‑bag fees even though we had already paid for our checked luggage. They also stole items from our checked suitcase. Vilma generously offered to help us contact the police regarding this incident. Vilma is an outstanding host. We give her a full 5‑star rating and would happily book with her again. In fact, we made three consecutive bookings at her property for our trip. Highly recommended!
