About this cottage rental
Old farm, at the bottom of a path in a place called two houses. Very quiet, very private not overlooked. Large garden surrounded by fields and a stream (low in summer). Private swimming pool whose use is only for the tenants of the house. It is our vacation home that we rent when we are not there.
Tourist tax and cleaning are included in the rental.

Living room 30m2 - 2 large sofas, TV, old fireplace
Kitchen with large table for 8-10 people
Equipped kitchen:
oven, 4 electric hobs
microwave
electric kettle, toaster
fridge
dishwasher
Laundry room with freezer,
washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Bedroom 3 - two 90cm beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers
Bedroom 4 - for children - 2 bunk beds 90cm, chest of drawers
Family bathroom - shower, bath, wc, sink
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1 - Large 160cm bed, cupboards, chest of drawers; bathroom with shower, wc, sink
Bedroom 2 - Large 160cm bed, cupboards; bathroom with wc and sink 2 people
Note - the bedrooms on the 1st are under the roof and the ceiling is low in places. We are tall (even 2m) and that doesn't bother us.
GARDEN
Private swimming pool only for the tenants of the house. (The neighbors have their own swimming pool.) 5m x 10m, about 1.40m deep. Alarm conforms to French standards. The swimming pool is surrounded by hedges, fences, and a gate closing with a padlock. Very sunny place.
Sunbathing, super big cushion, inflatable toys
Terrace (recently paved) under the wisteria, very fresh at noon even when it is very hot
Table and chairs for 8 people

Secret place for picnics near the stream.
The garden, about 4,000m2, is large enough to take refuge in a quiet corner with your book.
AROUND
The historic, bastide town of Sauveterre de Guyenne is a short drive away. There are shops, banks, pharmacy, tourist office, supermarket and petrol station 24/24.
The house is also very close to the Roger Lapébie cycle path which joins Bordeaux.
Info on various distractions can be found in the house.
WINES
Entre Deux Mers is the wine country par excellence! A bottle of wine from our cousins or neighbors will be waiting for you to water your arrival.

Très bon séjour dans une belle propriété au calme. Jardin et piscine très agréables (coin repas à l'abri même en cas de mauvais temps) . Maison très bien équipée. Propriétaire à l'écoute et très réactive.

This rental is very pleasant! During the day, we enjoyed the pretty garden with a lovely swimming pool in the quiet of the countryside. At night, the downstairs part of the house protected us from the heat and the upstairs bedrooms had fans for us to use. The rental is very well equipped and the owner, Leila, is very helpful. Perfect for a relaxing vacation in beautiful surroundings.
