MEGEVE Chalet 15 pers sauna - 5 mn walk to village Combloux

All was great and chalet worked well. The only hiccup was Vrbo giving us the wrong address of the chalet and we turned up at the wrong one which was occupied. Slightly disconcerting at the time!

We went as a group of 4 families, 7 adults and 9 children from 3-13. The chalet gave us enough space for everyone and each family had their own area and at least one bathroom each. The kitchen had everything you could need and the living rooms and bedrooms were very comfortable. Christine was very responsive and answered all our many questions quickly and gave us lots of information about the local area. Didier was great too. We only needed to call him on the last day because the cooker wouldn’t work (the electric had tripped while we were out and reset the cooker) but he came straight round and sorted it for us.He allowed us to arrive early and let us leave our luggage on the last day when we were waiting for our transfer. The chalet is a steep 5-10 minute walk to the village for the ski bus in the morning (which might be difficult in ski boots catering skis - we were lucky as our friends took all this up for us in their car). There is a path that goes straight up behind the chalet so it really isn’t far of you want to pop into Combloux to the shop or for a drink. Unfortunately the snow deteriorated quite badly from Wednesday and the lower slopes were bare and slushy but it was still amazing at the top. The only reason we aren’t coming back again next year is that there will be 20 of us so we’ve had to look elsewhere. We loved every minute of our holiday in Combloux and at Christine’s lovely chalet x

We did enjoy very much the chalet. We were a group of 5 couples with 2 kids. Very comfortable to stay for a big group. Highly recommended. My impression was that in reality it was even better than on the pictures;)

We were 16 and absolutely had a blast We hiked and cooked and played cats and have a fire and a BBQ and many other summer activities It was just oerfect

We stayed in the chalet 9 days during August. We loved it!!! We had all we need for our stay!! The house is well maintained , cleaned and tidy. The kitchen has all facilities. Big rooms and beautiful view, Very recommend

We were a total of 10 adults and 5 kids and everyone slept comfortably, privacy available when needed. The kitchen was super equipped and we were happy to eat in 6 out of 7 nights. It is a steep climb up to the village but only takes 10 minutes. Everything worked smoothly with the property manager, chalet was very clean and well-maintained, sheets and towels all available. We didn't have a car and it was a bit difficult with shopping and trash but the shuttle was fine for skiing.

Chalet très confortable et bien conçu. On se sent chez soi. Nous nous y sommes beaucoup plu. Heureusement car nous avons eu mauvais temps ! Le petit chemin pour monter au centre du village en 5 minutes est très pratique. Nos enfants ont aussi apprécié le sauna . Idéal pour fêter les 80 ans de mon mari.
