Our family stayed here three nights, as my daughter began her winter quarter at SCAD's Lacoste campus. Laurent was a kind and attentive host and just 15 minutes away if we needed anything. He also graciously gifted us a bottle of wine on arrival from his own vineyard! The house was just a few minutes drive from the village of Lacoste--perfect for us--10 minute drive to picturesque Bonnieux and a 20 minute drive to Apt, where we enjoyed the Saturday market. Since it was January, we were not able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces and pool, but we VERY much appreciated the ample windows and the view of Bonnieux across the valley, as well as the heated floors! Would love to stay again in the summer to enjoy all the house has to offer in outdoor amenities. The only suggestion we would offer is having a few more basic bathroom amenities such as hand soap, extra toilet paper, tissues, and perhaps some shower soap. Otherwise, the house is well-equipped, especially the large modern kitchen! The house design is well-planned and highly functional and comfortable. We highly recommend this property. Laurent is a wonderful host!

We stayed the last week of June at the property. The villa was wonderful-modern and comfortable with everything you need for a luxurious stay. It was very well equipped. The views of the surrounding countryside were beautiful. The host Laurent was so welcoming, very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had about the property or recommendations for local visits. Merci Laurent! The pool was very welcome on some of the hot days and we very much enjoyed using it! Lacoste is such a pretty village and just a short walk from the villa. We visited the chateau and also the lovely Cafe de France, and the tiny village shop was also very handy. It’s in a very picturesque area, on the edge of the Luberon, with plenty of other lovely towns and villages to visit. All in all we had a fantastic holiday there and definitely didn’t want to leave! I would have loved another week (or two).

The house is large, perfectly equipped, with large common areas and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The heating system on the ground floor is excellent and guarantees a uniform temperature, despite the size of the spaces. Each bedroom has its own thermostat to set the temperature desired by the guests who occupy it (great!). The outdoor spaces are very large and perfect for guys and children to play. The view of the hills and villages of Provence is very appreciable. My family had a great stay.

This property is modern, clean and very tastefully furnished. We were a family of 6 including a small baby and we had all that we needed. The pool and terrace was a wonderful place to enjoy the fabulous weather. We would love to return again.

This new house was well designed with all the modern conveniences. Sleeping on luxurious bedding in quiet neighborhood. Close enough to walk into village in a few minutes, so you can leave your car. Perfect location to explore the Luberon!

Laurents house fulfilled almost all our wishes, spacious and within walking distance of Lacoste. Communication with Laurent was easy and he responded quickly to any questions. The pool and gardens were great, we played boules on the drive and the lawn. The kitchen is large but even so you get in each others way due to the layout of drawers and cupboards-afist world problem! Lacoste is beautiful and only ten minutes walk away down a little used track to the road. It has two bar/restaurants, Le Strade the pizzeria which is busy but the food we found to be really poor and Cafe de France which has great views but we only drank there, it seems popular with the locals so maybe the food is better. The small shop in the village is useful to have for staples but doesn't have bread most of the time, we missed having a boulangerie near by and that is my biggest fault with the location. We've visited the area regularly over the last twenty years but this is the only time we have stayed in Lacoste. Provence wove it's usual magic, we enjoyed it enormously and I can recommend Casa Lacosta as a great place to stay with easy access to the rest of the Vaucluse.

We had a great time in Laurent’s house. Communication was very good throughout. Lacoste is a tiny village with few facilities- bread was an issue- there was a shop in the village but we never found it open - but ten mins in the car took you to bonnieux where there was an artisan bread shop . There are two restaurants in the village - one has great views and average food and a pizzeria which was full of atmosphere and the food was great / it does take away too . It’s an easy , if steep walk to both . The house is well equipped ( though more champagne glasses are needed and maybe some new pillows!) Tbe pool and pool area is idyllic. Great !!

Laurent met us and made us feel very welcome from the outset. The house is as amazing as it looks in the pictures with stunning view across to Bonnieux. It is perfectly situated for a short walk into the centre of Lacoste where there are a couple of restaurants and a shop selling bread, pastries, wine etc. It is a short drive to some of the other beautiful villages that Provence has to offer- Bonnieux, Menerbes, Roussillon and Gordes ( the furthest being Gordes which was around 15-20 mins). We really didn’t want to leave and could easily have stayed for another week. Provence was as lovely as we had hoped it to be and the house made it that much better!

Lovely modern property with plenty of space for all. Beautifully designed and fantastic outdoor area with outdoor dining, great pool and space for the kids to burn off energy. The property has no A/C and no fans, but you can pick these up locally at the supermarket quite cheaply if the weather is very hot. Beautiful village and quite private, despite being amongst other villas. Unfortunately witnessed an extremely serious assault next door and had to call the police, which put a downer on the holiday, however the house and grounds are lovely and in a great position to see the surrounding area.

I highly recommend this beautifully designed house in Lacoste. We stayed one month and invited friends to join us. The location affords a lovely base for travel in the Vaucluse and Provence region to visit Aix, Avignon etc.as well as the nearby towns of Menerbes and Gould and their weekly markets. The house itself is well designed and nicely furnished. The outdoor space and pool are very pleasant and functional. The owner Laurent Bouet was helpful in many ways and made our stay even more agreeable, to the point of making reservations for our wedding anniversary dinner in nearby Bonnieux. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as did our guests and recommend La Casa Lacosta highly.

This house in not your typical French villa. It is a beautifully designed, modern home that clearly has been well thought through by a talented architect. The use of space and layout of the house is in perfect harmony with the outside spaces, garden & pool. The view across the Luberon valley to Bonnieux is stunning and a perfect back drop to watch the sun rise. It is well located with access to a number of villages close by. Our recommendation for your stay would be to bed in, buy your provisions and just enjoy living in this wonderful house! We all felt it was a great opportunity to stay here. Villa moderne bien équipée , lits super confortables , on a dormi comme des anges , grand living avec télévision grand écran , playstation , wifi ultrarapide (dsl ) Grande terrasse en bois avec vue sur Bonnieux , il faut mieux porter des Crocs ou sandales sur la terrasse sinon on risque des petits échardes . Grande piscine chauffée . Le propriétaire Monsieur Bouet est hyper sympa et vraiment disponible en plus comme il est Directeur de la Cave de Bonnieux il peut vous renseigner ( et vendre ) sur les meilleurs vins de la région .

Wir konnten 14 Tage in diesem sehr schönen Haus verbringen. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Laurent war problemlos und immer sehr angenehm. Von hier aus kann man sehr gut die Provence erkunden, auch per Rad. Wir waren mit den Rennräder unterwegs. Einkäufe muss man mit dem Auto erledigen, da es in Lacoste keinen Bäcker und keinen Supermarkt gibt. Wir können das Objekt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la "Casa Lacosta". La maison est très lumineuse, spacieuse avec tout l'équipement de confort nécessaire pour y passer d'agréables moments. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et à l'écoute. Sportifs, nous avons pu apprécier la beauté des paysages lors de nos footings. La maison est spacieuse et parfaitement agencée; en tous points conforme au descriptif. Sa localisation assure un accès facile à la plupart des sites remarquables de la région, y compris à vélos (électriques recommandés). Vue superbe sur le Luberon à toute heure de la journée et même le soir sur le village voisin, Bonnieux. La piscine chauffée, d'une belle taille, garantit un séjour parfait. Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem Traumhaus mit Pool verbracht, das Haus ist sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Garten, Pool und Haus sind traumhaft (entsprechen den Bildern voll und ganz) , Laurent ist ein sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Gastgeber, so dass Ankunft und Abfahrt auch bei weiter Entfernung problemlos sind. Kurzum: danke an Laurent für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen sicher bald wieder.
