About this house rental

The house has just been classified 3 stars in November 2023.
From an old winery transformed a few years ago, we have created a beautiful space, filled with light with an East/West exposure.

Very functional house, on one level, conducive to relaxation, ideal with its 2 bedrooms for a family of 4 people including 2 children.

Babies are welcome..., all the equipment: travel cot, high chair, bathtub, toilet mattress, potty...in short... everything necessary for their well-being is available. Just tell us when booking.

In terms of comfort, you will have nothing to complain about, the house is fully equipped. All kitchen equipment, bedding, household appliances were purchased new (start of rental: August 2017).

Oléron can be visited by bike. Many rental companies 5 minutes away by car offer you bicycles, including electric ones.

The cycle path is located in front of the house. It will take you in just 5 minutes to the heart of Chéray where there is the daily market, the pharmacy, the press, the bakery and a Carrefour Contact supermarket.

In 10 minutes by bike you reach the nearest beaches such as Sables Vignier or Bonnes.

The house is adjoining another gite for 6 people (referenced N° 1795653 on Abritel) not overlooked and with independent access. You benefit from large private parking and an interior courtyard. The house has a fully enclosed private garden of 200 m2 with a large terrace of 35 m2.

The house is separated from the neighboring gîte by a wall 5m long and 2m high, then by fencing covered with brande and a hedge. You can enjoy, in complete peace of mind, a set of outdoor furniture (outdoor table and chairs, barbecue, large 3m/3m offset parasol, 2 deck chairs, etc.).

The rental, with a surface area of ​​approximately 40 m2, consists of 2 bedrooms, a very bright living room and a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

The master bedroom is made up of a 140 cm double bed (we provide the mattress pad, a blanket and/or duvet of your choice, 2 undercases and 60/60 pillow), 2 bedside tables and a cupboard.

The children's bedroom is made up of 2 90 cm bunk beds (with mattress pad, duvet, undercase and pillow provided), a storage cupboard. A bedside lamp is provided for each bed.

Details for the bedding: It's up to you to bring the fitted sheets, the duvet covers for the 2 90cm beds and the classic sheets or the duvet cover for the 140cm bed and the 60/60 pillowcases.

The living room has a fully fitted kitchen area with a large work surface, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge with freezer compartment, a hood, a microwave, an electric oven and a 4-burner induction hob.

The living area contains a 2-seater sofa, coffee tables, ottomans, a TV table and its flat screen TV (82cm), a round table and 6 chairs.

Outside, you have a table, 4 chairs, 2 deck chairs, a parasol, a charcoal barbecue. We have built a wooden shed so that you can store your bikes, strollers, surfboards, etc. under cover.

Our dog friends are accepted (except during school holidays) and after agreement from the owner.

During periods requiring heating, the cost of electricity is additional on the EDF meter reading. In 2024: €0.25 per Kw/h consumed.

From 2024, end-of-stay cleaning will be compulsory and at an additional cost of €50.

The Tourist Tax for this 3-star house is calculated throughout the year, the cost in 2024 is €1.65 per adult and per night. This obligatory tax is paid to the municipality.

Property generally well equipped. Modern kitchen area, 100% functional. Garden a little shady... High hedges need cutting to about 2m imho to allow more September evening sun in. TV and Wifi good, (despite severe electrical storm cutting off Internet for a week.) We were very happy staying here and would be happy to stay again. Thanks
