What a neat property with amazing views and history. You are close to the village center with plenty of dining options, and very close to the Gerges du Verdon. Sylvie was a joy to meet and very attentive to our needs. Book it!!

The gite is in an excellent location for cycling / hiking the gorge, with a lovely view over the village of Palud. However, the property advert is misleading and incorrect. In particular: there is no internet at the house, there are no sofas to relax on in the lounge (the advertised “sofa bed” is actually an old single bed under the stairs - not suitable for sitting on), there cleaning is not good - there was a used sanitary towel left in the bedside table! Overall, it is very dark inside the property (understandable as it is old) but it needs decorating, improved furniture (the beds were metal camp-style beds), and a bit of brightening up (eg take away the old brown pictures) The owner is friendly, and dealt a problem with the electricity and water very quickly. The house also has good practicalities like a washing machine. But we would not stay there again due to the lack of sofa, WiFi, and poor cleaning.

Das das Haus und die Einrichtung altmodisch sind, sieht man ja bei der Beschreibung des Objektes, für uns hat das aber gerade den Charme ausgemacht und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Verdon Tales, der Ort La Palude Sur Verdon hat mehr zu bieten, als man im Vorfeld erwartet, vorallem der Bäcker und die Crêperie sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Maison agréablement fraîche, reculée du village tout en étant à 500 m de la boulangerie du proxy un peu cher mais très pratique qui fait station Essence aussi ! Il faut aimer les vieilles bâtisses. Notre hôte d'accueil Sylvie a été très agréable et la maison disposait d'essuie tout, lessive liquide, tablette lave vaisselle, sac poubelle, papier toilette ect... Ça fait plaisir! On se sent acceuillis.

On se sent comme à la maison à la bergerie. Nous avions une vue magnifique sur la vallée et le village de la Palud. Nous avions à proximité des activités d'escalade et de via cordata. Nous avons également fait du canyoning. Les villages alentours sont très sympathiques. La région est superbe.

La maison bénéficie d une superbe vue dont on ne se lasse pas,et ses murs épais lui permettent de rester fraîche même quand il fait très chaud dehors. Le seul bémol vient de l environnement. Il y a deux meutes de chiens de chasse à La Palud qui sont dehors et aboient jour et nuit.Les aboiements sont assez éloignés la plupart du temps mais nous avons eu des exceptions... l endroit est magnifique et très pratique pour les visites des alentours.

The house had everything we needed. Also it had a beautiful view over the town of La Palud. We enjoyed many activities like biking, hiking, swimming in that fanrastic area. The verdon canyon, the old ruins of chateauneuf, the lakes and the interesting towns made this a perfect vacation for us. Best wishes to Silvie and Jacky, who were both very friendly and helpful.

La Bergerie est exactement comme décrit par Sylvie. Ici vous trouverez la paix et la détente. Dans la maison, vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Le mobilier est joliment meublé avec des meubles anciens. Cet intérieur a rencontré notre style. Seul un four dans la cuisine aurait été sympa. Nous aurions aimé faire cuire une tarte provençale ou quelque chose de similaire. Mais ce n'est pas mal et difficile à gérer. Sinon, l'environnement est fantastique. La Palud sur Verdon est un petit lieu enchanteur avec supermarché, restaurants, épicerie et boulanger. La pâte feuilletée aux abricots était délicieuse! La Bergerie est un point de départ idéal pour des excursions dans la région. Idéal pour la randonnée, la baignade dans les lacs du Verdon et la découverte des villages environnants et du plateau de Valensole avec ses champs de lavande en fleurs. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos vacances avec Sylvie et pouvons absolument recommander cet hébergement à ceux qui recherchent la paix.

Pour notre groupe de 6 grimpeurs, ce gîte était très bien. Une grande table pour dîner ensemble, des chambres avec des lits qui peuvent se mettre en configuration 'individuelle', belle ambiance d'une maison ancienne. Deux suggestions d'amélioration : ça manque un peu d'éclairage au salon, et un four (autre que microondes) dans la cuisine serait pratique. Sinon vraiment bien!

La maison correspond bien à la description sur le site, cette vieille maison est très agréable, bien rénovée avec des matériaux authentiques. La cuisine a tous les ustensiles nécessaires, elle est juste un peu "vieillote". Pas de vis à vis, repas au calme, les pieds dans l'herbe. Un peu en hauteur, elle offre une belle vue sur les environs et les "levers de lune". Le village, à 5 mn à pied, offre toutes les commodités. La propriétaire a répondu à tous mes mails en amont et s'est assurée que le ménage ait été bien fait.

In dem großen Haus mit etlichen hübschen, antiken Möbeln oberhalb des Dorfs La Palud sur Verdon fühlt man sich richtig wohl - wie zu Besuch bei Oma. Von den Fenstern und der Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Blick aufs 500 m entfernte Dorf und auf die umliegenden Berge. Nachts ist es absolut ruhig. Sylvie Brejoux wird vor Ort durch den sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Jacky Molines vertreten. Im Dorf bieten einige kleine Geschäfte, eine kleine aber sehr gute Bäckerei und einige Restaurants eine gute Versorgung für den täglichen Bedarf. Das Haus ist wärmstens zu empfehlen für einen Aktivurlaub oder auch für eine Zeit, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Die Wohnung ist aus unserer Sicht wunderschön. Tolles Flair im alten Schafstall. Kann man auf den Bildern schon ganz gut erkennen. Das Haus liegt am Rand von "La Palud", einem Dorf ungefähr in der Mittel vom Gorges du Verdon, direkt am Ausgang der sehenswerten "Route des Crêtes". Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen hervorragenden handwerklichen Bäcker. Der See "Lac de Ste. Croix" ist ca. 30 Minuten entfernt (wir haben wegen des vorsichtigen Kurvenfahrens mit den Kindern eher 45 Minuten gebraucht). Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und würden definitiv wieder kommen. Ich kann dieses Haus wirklich allen empfehlen.
