Location is stunning and the house is lovely and very french. Everything you need is there and Patrick was very helpful and made our arrival very easy. We enjoyed our stay. Asnelles has a bakery, restaurant all within walking distance from the house.

Our family of 6 (mom & dad, 4 kids) enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage located right near Arromanches/Mulberry Harbor. Patrick & his lovely family were terrific to interact with and their cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The two bathrooms were great for our large family, the view from the family room was fantastic! The location was ideal as a base for exploring the area and our kids loved watching the tides roll in & out, as well as exploring the harbor ruins during low tide! We highly recommend Patrick's cottage!

We had a delightful time staying in this cozy seaside cottage! Right on the beach! The four of us slept very well, plenty of nice sitting area to relax, and two bathrooms/showers that were great! Patrick greeted us upon our arrival! He and his daughter walked us through the entire home, showed us about all the appliances, small hidden areas, and bathrooms! Then he graciously sat down with us for at least 30 minutes (we had questions about the area and about historical sites!!) and guided us through a map of tourist sites, restaurants, and how to navigate around the area! We had such a wonderful time! We cooked breakfast one morning - everything we needed was provided as far as pots, pans, plates, glasses, and cooking utensils. Then every night we would walk on the beach and then sit in the spacious, comfortable living area and drink our coffee taking in the cool ocean breeze from the large picture window in the front of the house! This cottage is so cute and quaint, the location is amazing, and it has all you need for comfort! Patrick was such a wonderful host! I would stay here again for sure! It was quiet and so beautiful! We were there in early December, it was pretty cool and windy, but still so enjoyable! I want to come back in warmer weather! But regardless of time of year, this little beach house is a gem!

Beautiful location, right on the beach, just through a little gate. Walk along the beach to pick up your croissants, a ten minute stroll. My husband had a lovely walk along the beach into Arromanches, just note the tides. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. When we ate in we found all the utensils needed and we ate out locally a couple of times at O Dunes Zen, very nice lady (who also speaks English) and good food, 10 minutes stroll. We were met at the accommodation by very nice friends of Mr Pournot and they arrived promptly to see us off at the end of our stay. A shame we did not use the BBQ as it was a little overgrown and needed some tlc. Lovely en-suite to the main bedroom but there are steps down to the en-suite (no hand rail), up to the sitting room and down to the second bedroom and bathroom, so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Mr Pournot's friends were a phone call away if needed but we had no need as everything was provided for and worked. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had a lovely stay, enjoying some fantastic sunsets.

We spent four wonderful nights at this seaside house early in October. We were two couples from Canada, and this accommodation was ideal. The house is surprisingly large, clean and comfortable, everything as described in the listing. We were blessed with perfect weather, and spent lots of time walking on the beach. Thanks to our host Patrick; we would love to visit again soon.

My wife, brother in law and I booked this cottage for a week to celebrate my brother in law's 60th birthday and to visit the Normandy beaches where my father in law and his father came into on their ship in June 1944. Patrick, the owner, met us on arrival and showed us around the house and gave us advice on local restaurants. The house, albeit relatively small, is very comfortable. Not shown in the details is the lovely new ensuite off the master bedroom. The view over the Mulberry harbour from the lounge and the back garden is amazing. Restaurants and boulongerie are a five minute stroll away, the beach is a hop over the garden fence. The house is ideally placed for touring the landing beaches, Bayeaux and Caen. Good new garden furniture and a nice big BBQ. If Patrick ever wants to sell the house........

Même si le temps n'a pas été clément qu'une partie de la semaine de notre séjour, cela n'a rien enlevé au charme de l'endroit et de Mélodie, elle a du caractère, tout en positivité, nous avons profité de son excellente literie, de son salon avec vue sur la mer calme ou déchaînée, de sa cuisine entièrement équipée. Nous étions 2 avec notre chien, la propriété est sécurisée et les plages immenses ont été son parc d'attraction quasi privatisé... Si vous avez la chance de trouver une semaine disponible, ne vous posez pas de questions, réservez!!

Merveilleuse semaine dans cette petite Maison Blanche fraîchement repeinte aux volets bleus. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cet endroit attachant et accueillant, face à la mer et à l’immense plage d’Asnelles. Merci surtout à Patrick pour son accueil, ses attentions multiples à notre égard (le cadeau de bienvenue dans le frigidaire .. et le petit geste commercial du départ !!). Merci aussi pour tout le travail accompli pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions (rénovation de la cuisine , désinfection de toutes les pièces et des ustensiles ...). Bref, tout a été simple et parfait. A recommander aux amoureux de la mer, du calme, du vent aussi mais surtout de la Normandie !

Das Haus ist vor allem auf Grund der Lage toll. Man schläft bei Meeresrausche ein und auf der Rückseite des Hauses gibt es ein Törchen, von da aus kann man direkt ans Meer. Das Haus ist inkl. Garten komplett eingezäunt. Das ist echt klasse auch mit Hund. Das Haus selbst ist komplett eingerichtet, Schlafzimmer, Bad und Wohnzimmer (z.T. auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen mit 2-3 Stufen) sind recht neu renoviert. Die Küche könnte ein "update" gebrauchen. Für den Winter finde ich das Häuschen mäßig geeignet, es ist einfach nicht gut isoliert und die elektrischen Heizungen verbrauchen einfach echt Strom. Das einzige, was mich wirklich etwas gestört hat, ist, dass das Haus etwas gemüffelt hat, möglicherweise, weil es jetzt einfach in dieser Jahreszeit nicht mehr oft gebucht wird. Für den Sommer wird es wunderschön sein. Für 2 Personen super geeignet.

Aankomst goed geregeld door de vriendelijke eigenaar. Huis binnen zeer schoon en opgeruimd. Alle zaken die je nodig zou kunnen hebben, zijn ruimschoots aanwezig. Zelfs in de koelkast stond bier, frisdrank en cider al koud. Goede zorg voor ons als huurder. Buiten loop je bij laag water zo het enorme strand op. Hoewel we er eind October waren waren er strandzeilers en surfers druk in de weer. Geweldige vacantie gehad. Patrick bedankt voor je goede zorgen.

Das ganz große Plus dieses Häuschens ist seine Lage direkt am Meer. Es besteht ein direkter Zugang direkt zum Strand und ein Picknicktisch mit Blick auf das Meer steht bereit, von wo man schon zum Frühstück in der Sonne den Aufenthalt am Meer genießen kann. Kontakt und Übergabe bei Ankunft ging reibungslos. Der Vermieter hat alles gut organisiert, steht für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank Monsieur Pournot, für die gute Betreuung :o) Das Haus ist gut und gemütlich ausgestattet, vor allem das Badezimmer ist sehr schön und neu eingerichtet. Die Küche bietet alles nötige, auch wichtige Details wie Austernöffner sind vorhanden ;o) Das Grundstück rund um das Haus ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Terasse mit Mobiliar und gemauertem Grill, Parkplatz und eben der Blick aufs Meer... herrlich! Der Ort ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Badeort. Bäckerei, kleiner Supermarkt und Restaurants sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Die Region ist einfach wunderbar. Hier gibt es viel zu sehen und von Asnelles aus sind viele interessante Orte sehr gut erreichbar. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter ist man hier gut beschäftigt. Einen weiteren Besuch im Standhäuschen in der Normandie können wir uns sehr gut vorstellen.

La visite des villes de Bayeux et Caen.

Wir, ein Ehepaar von 60 und 67 Jahren mit einem großen Hund, haben bereits zum 2. mal unseren Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Haus ist gut ausgestattet, die Lage direkt am Meer ist einfach unbeschreiblich. Der Vermieter Herr Pournot ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles war einfach nur gut und schön. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Ist nur zu empfehlen.
