About this house rental
In the heart of a charming village, pleasant house where we have tried, without denying its old side, to optimize its comfort.
On the ground floor, the kitchen, open to the living room, fitted with patinated wooden furniture, is equipped with a fan oven, a gas / electricity hob, a washing machine, washer-dryer, a blender and everything needed to ensure your daily life.
The living room, complete with a fireplace, has, among other things, a sofa bed, a flat-screen TV and a library full of books and guides about the region.
The upstairs bedroom has a 140 cm wide double bed with quality mattresses from the Epeda-Multispire brand (bed linen not supplied). On the same level is the bathroom with bath and wc.
And, on the last level, the second bedroom on the mezzanine with a single bed (: bed linen not provided).
The village, meanwhile, is located at the entrance to the Var when you arrive from Aubagne,
Marseille is therefore not very far.
The crest road that runs along the seaside can be a very interesting car route if you go to the side of Cassis. Closer, one can enjoy all the seaside, the beaches of Saint Cyr, Bandol, Six-Fours, in Toulon and even beyond, of course towards Hyeres or Giens.
The house is 10 minutes by car from Bandol beach.
The route to get there, without taking the motorway, is very pleasant because the landscape looks like a Tuscan countryside.
We also come across many entries from wine estates.
The village, in itself, has a lot of charm, its old streets seem full of history. We almost immerse ourselves in a habitat of another age. In the morning, we go get our fresh bread, on foot, at the bakery, at noon, we can go take the Pastis at La Souco and after enjoying the beach, spend the evening reading or watching TV or, possibly, eat at one of the restaurants in the village (La Farigoule or Pied de Nez, for example) ...

Very lovely if you like to stay in a beautiful village which gets very calm in the late afternoon and night. Easily connected if you want to spend the evenings somewhere between Sanary and Cassis. Second time we spent there, and although some updates in the house might be nice, we would come back again.

We loved to be part of a beautiful unique village, not far from the sea and surprisingly well connected to other places through the very near but far enough away highway. Very charming house!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Häuschen und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist, wie man auf den Bildern erkennen kann, sehr liebevoll und urig eingerichtet und dabei aber trotzdem sehr funktional ausgestattet, d.h. es ist alles da was man braucht und die Betten sind überdies sehr bequem. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war auch sehr freundlich. Wir würden gerne wieder zurückkommen!

Das Haus ist schon charmant!
Vielleicht sollte man nicht in der Hochsaison dort sein. Es war uns nicht klar, dass der beschriebene Dorfplatz in einem als Ganzes eine Sehenswürdigkeit darstellenden mittelalterlichen Dorf liegt. Das fing mit der schwierigen Anreise an-theoretisch ist das Dorf mit einem Auto befahrbar, aber praktisch am Samstag im August unmöglich. So ist Kofferschleppen vom Parkplatz angesagt... viele Treppen tiefer.
Obwohl ich die Vermieterin vorher angefragt hatte, ob sie Bettwäsche zur Verfügung stellen könne, war das Bett nicht bezogen. Man kann ja nicht davon ausgehen, dass ausländische Gäste im Fluggepäck noch Bettwäsche dabei haben. Zumal es in Frankreich ja völlig andere Maße mit riesigen Decken gibt. Das ging wohl anderen Gästen ähnlich, die dann deutlich sichtbare Spuren auf Sofakissen und Tagesdecken hinterließen. Im Schrank fanden wir dann 3 sehr schmutzige Laken, die wir in die Gott sei Dank vorhandene Waschmaschine stecken konnten.
So konnten wir dann ab der 2. Nacht im Bett schlafen.
Ansonsten ist im Haus an fast alles gedacht. Man muss die üppige Dekoration allerdings mögen.
Ebenso das touristische“Begängnis“ und den damit verbundenen Geräuschpegel von früh bis in die Nacht.
