About this chalet rental
The chalet is very comfortable, from the terrace, equipped with a barbecue, a garden furniture and sun loungers, you overlook the mountains and the valley, not overlooked, the view is magnificent as well as the sunset. Sun.
Located at the entrance of the hamlet of Bagés where you will find farm cheese, it is close to local shops (bakery, butcher, cafes, restaurants and tourist information), the gastronomic market every Saturday morning with tourist welcome in season summer.
The 1st weekend of October, the cheese fair is at the rendezvous.
During your stay, you can access many leisure activities:
In summer, boat ride at Lake Castet, many family walks and hikes (the chalet is located on walking trails), Laruns swimming pool (2km) covered, the roof of which can be opened in summer; it is equipped with a 25m pool, a sauna and a jaccuzi; river or mountain lake fishing (Lac de Bious - Artigues); small tourist train from Artouste, the highest in Europe which runs along the mountainside; visits to the cellars of Jurançon in Gan, a honey house in the neighboring village of Aas with observations of the bees (glass hive), you can get there on foot, forest hanging at the Eaux Bonnes (10 mins).
You will go to Spain by the Pourtalet pass (ventas ..) crossing the Pyrenees National Park, cows, horses and sheep live there freely according to the seasons, transhumance, you may see marmots while scrutinizing the mountains through binoculars.
In winter, if there is snow, you can practice alpine skiing, snowshoeing or snowboarding at the stations of Gourette (a daycare center is open during school holidays), Artouste and Formigal (in Spain).

This home is simply wonderful. It’s a dream to stay up there. It is above Laruns and extremely private with just a few homes around it w a huge view of Laruns and the area. Perfect yard and chairs to hang out to look at the mountains or see the night sky. The house has 3 separate bedrooms upstairs. Large dining area that can sit at least 6 people. Your own driveway and parking. There’s even a great restaurant in the small hamlet up there. Close to many things and gorgeous mountains out of a storybook. Easy check in process and the ones that take care of the house are wonderful and also nearby which is very nice.

la description correspond aux attentes, notre chatte lilou partait la journée et revenait tard le soir,pas de soucis avec les animaux voisins.Nous avons apréciez les balades aux ponts d'espagne a cauterets, les cols du soulor ou la station gourette , les animaux en liberté dans la montagne, les marmottes visibles notamment au cirque de gavarnies elles courts dans la montagne pas besoin de jumelles, mes filles de 14 ET 10 ans ravie de leurs vacances, piscine a laruns accueil chalereux et pas cher,sentier depuis beost "les 3 VILLAGES" pas besoin de carte suivre les tracés rouge et blanc, d'autres sentiers a faire pas eu le temps, très belle maison chalet chalereux et très propre literies impeccable accueil mme baillères chalereux,pas eu l'occasion d'aller au resto, grottes de betharrams a faire!!et grottes de medous,lac d'estaing,lourdes, eglise st engrace, eglise laruns, accrobranche a eauxbonnes accueil sympa et cours sur la prise en mains du matériel et sécurité enfants superman sur place pour enfants en difficulté sur parcours vu!!sauvetage gamin tétanisé par la hauteur;location idéalement situé pour les amoureux de calme et de vue imprenable , juste ce qu'il faut de voiture pour arriver a la location ce n'est pas pénible cadres super
