About this villa rental

325 sq. m villa with 4 large bedrooms with very large wardrobes and dressers, 4 bathrooms, double living room, kitchen opening onto the dining room, gym, large garden with a view of the vines, and a 12 metre swimming pool. Additionally there is a janitor/babysitter/staff accommodation detached from the house consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and separate kitchen. This is a south-facing villa......

As someone who was traveling abroad, I received zero communication from the host. There were no directions on how to get to the house, entry instructions, phone numbers, nothing etc. There was no way to even use the home. Days after assumed checkin the host reached out (after we assumed it was cancelled due to zero comms) asking where we were. Terrible experience.

Unfortunately, 2 days a cloudy pool until the technic worked and a terrace that has probably never seen water - at Euro 2500.00 per day that is impossible. The dirty barbecue was at least roughly cleaned after a request. The bathtub was clogged but according to the landlady you don't need it in summer ;-) Otherwise a nice location and you don't always hear the nearby street. It could be nice but the price-performance ratio is very critical. We knew what it would cost but we didn't expect the condition and the landlady doesn't seem to know it either as she lives far away.

The view from the villa over the surrounding vineyard is beautiful. The large garden has a well-shaded terrace and the pool is great for swimming. We had a lovely time. It is well located for easy access to Gassin, St Tropez, Ramatuelle & Grimaud. Not all the bedrooms appeared to have aircon but that didn't cause us a problem. The bbq is traditional charcoal.

I had a wonderful time in St. Tropez. This house is in a great location. Plenty of space, the lay out is very great for large groups. Look forward to returning.
