About this house rental

Our cottage is located in a small mainly agricultural village. By stopping by us, you can rest and find peace and serenity, far from the stress linked to city life. Summer is coming, nature awaits young and old who can find their happiness during walks that allow you to observe the fauna, flora, human activity linked to it, and recharge your batteries!
Take advantage of your escapade with us to discover the milking of the cows, taste the milk, the farm butter and perhaps you will have the chance to witness a calving and perhaps you will dare to feed the cows , to calves.
By being adjoining, we may have the opportunity to sympathize, just as our children will certainly do through the games they will share outside: biking, table tennis.
Young and old, you will leave with memories full of head in addition to those left by our beautiful region and the different places you will have visited

We had a great time at this farm. We really liked the accommondation and the hosts were friendy. Some little things were not quite as we thought and sometimes it was noisy, but that was not a big problem. I totally recommend this place if you want a vacation on a farm / rural area.

Clean, tidy and compact Gite situated in the most beautiful countryside. Attached to the farmhouse of a dairy farm. Landlady was very friendly and although she only spoke a little English (and we only speak a little French!), we were able to communicate well and all was good. We had an excellent food recycler outside - called chickens! - which my son adored, feeding them all sorts every day! Even though it's a working dairy farm, it was quiet and very calm (from a visitors point of view!) If you love walking/cycling, then this is a perfect place. Otherwise, the area has little out side of WW1 & 2 (although the aquarium in nearby Boulogne is a must!) That said, we were kept fully occupied for a week - although that also mean trips into Belgium and the Flanders area as a whole.

Absolutely wonderful place. Easy to find. A short 10minute drive to the supermarket. Comfortable beds and more than enough space for our family. More than we could have ever have asked for. Only problem was, it was a hot day and being next to a working farm, we got bitten by the flies. We are returning again but we have fly/ bug repellent to hand. Host was amazing. Easy to contact. Looking forward to seeing again.

It was very clean, comfortable accommodation with good wifi and TV. It is on a working dairy farm with chickens and is in a quiet rural location with a helpful host who made us very welcome. There is easy access to wonderful beaches on the opal coast and the children (under 10) enjoyed a visit to Bal Parc (about 6km away).Excellent holiday!

The gite is spacious and had good parking. It had two bedrooms with plenty of space for five of us to sleep but be aware you have to bring your own sheets unless you want to pay extra for them to be provided. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is an outside seating area and trampoline to use. There is no shop nearby so bring your food with you although the farm will be able to give you milk fresh from the cows!

Lovely host, location and comfortable bed. Settee is a one uncomfortable futon. This place is for 5-7! Where is everyone supposed to sit? Remove the futon and the unnecessary extra dining table and bring in some comfortable sofas.

Warm welcome from the owner. Property was very clean. We stayed just one night instead of an hotel and it was much better. Very well equipped, quiet and situated in a really scenic area even in December. Would be stunning in the summer. We will definately be visiting again.

Lovely place to stay on a working farm

We had a lovely few days staying here. The place is very nicely furnished and has everything you may need (fully equipped kitchen, large living room with TV, DVD player and a lot of board games for the children to play). There is also ample space to enjoy outdoors with a lovely sitting area in front of the property. The landlady was very lovely and welcoming, even provided us with a jar of homemade jam which for some reason we couldn't find in the supermarket. All in all a lovely place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet and countryside.

Mooie ruime woning op een boerderij, koeien. Wij waren met zo'n 2en,maar met 3 kinderen erbij zou ook kunnen. Daar zijn ook nog echte bedden voor. Ook met een baby is mogelijk, kinderbedje en stoel aanwezig. Vaatwasser, wasmachine en droger, lekker luxe. Het sanitair zou een update kunnen hebben, kleine douche met gordijn. In de keuken Ron voldoende servies en bestek. Een grote eettafel in de keuken en ook nog een in de woonkamer. 2 lekkere banken, kortom goed ingericht. Buiten en overdekt zitje met witgoed en bbq. Kortom :ruim huis, heel rustig gelegen op een boerderij

Grand gîte, fonctionnel. Propriétaire très sympathique et présent en cas de demande. Seul petit bémol, le bruit a 6 heures du matin de la traite. ( Bruit sourd, mais le lait est bon!!)

Logement correcte 2 chambres dont une avec 3 lits simples parfait car nous étions accompagnés par nos 3 petits enfants. Possibilité de louer pour quelques nuits. Nombreuses possibilités d’activites Dans un rayon de 30km. Affaire absolument avec des enfants de moins de 12 ans le parc d’attraction Dennlys ( les adultes y trouvent aussi leur plaisir). Propriétaire très sympa.
