This pretty house with its private swimming pool is ideally located for a peaceful holiday in the South.

My husband and I enjoyed the rustic charm of this rental. We recommend it. Just the facts: Friendly hosts. Very comfortably furnished house with nice design touches and amenities like coffee pods and bathrobes. Spacious patio, yard and nice pool area with characteristic Mediterranean landscaping. More details: We are travelers from the United States. We speak some French. This area of France is largely agricultural, with some occasional industry. The Rhone river here is wide, with the major cities and towns along it but often with fields on either side. This house is located in one of these semi rural areas. The neighborhood is undistinguished, which does not prepare you for the nice surprise you receive when you drive up the cul-de-sac, through the blue gate and find the pretty house with patio and pool. Your hosts Françoise and Alain live adjacent, in a spacious upscale family compound. The house itself has a unique layout. The primary bedroom with bath and the living/dining area and kitchen, as well as a bedroom with twin beds, are on one level. A large barrier-free bedroom and bath are on a level three steps down. The two areas are connected by a utility room containing laundry facilities, a wine fridge and a wheelchair lift. We did not need the wheelchair access but enjoyed the spacious bathroom area in the lower level. It was autumn when we visited, so we did not use the pool. We often enjoyed sitting on the patio nearby. Peaceful and quiet at night.

Our host was at the property when we arrived and showed us around. The villa was lovely and well stocked. The grounds and pool were great. It was very peaceful and private. A car is essential. We had a great stay here and will return.

This is a very well-equipped, comfortable and attractive house with a spacious garden and a welcoming pool. The owners met us on arrival and, although we did not speak a common language, everything was made clear. All facilities, including kitchen equipment, air-conditioning, television and internet worked well. The property is ideally situated for Nimes, Arles, Avignon, Les Baux, the Camargue and many lovely villages that make Provence and Languedoc such an atmospheric and delightful region to visit. It is possible to walk along the voie verte to Beaucaire and the Pont du Gard. We had an excellent stay.

Nice to have a good size garden/pool when you rent for just 2 or 4 people. Very well thought of house. You have everything you need. Warm hosts & close to so many nice spots to visit...a week was too short! Would love to go back! Thanks Françoise & Alain!

A la recherche d'une villa adaptée pour une personne handicapée, au calme, afin de pouvoir visiter les différents sites touristiques à proximité. Aucune surprise, à savoir que la villa est sur deux niveaux; une totalement accessible (suite parentale avec salle de bains) et un deuxième niveau (salon-séjour-cuisine)accessible à l'aide d'une plateforme élévatrice. Avons passé un excellent séjour malgré la saison avancée.

Niet enkel de vakantiewoning zelf was een topper, ook de omgeving was prachtig! Aan alles was gedacht, al wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig in de woning. We hebben met ons viertjes enorm genoten van het huis, de tuin, het zwembad en onze uitstappen naar Nîmes, Avignon, Les Baux-de-Provence en onze kanotocht naar Pont du Gard. De eigenaars waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gepflegt und insgesamt äußerst geschmackvoll und harmonisch gestaltet. Trotzdem ist es sehr gemütlich und strahlt eine mediterrane wärme aus. Die Gastgeberin, Mme Laget, hat das Interieur liebevoll mit provenzalischen Motiven (Fliesen im Bad, Tapeten, Bilder etc.) dekoriert, auch Bettwäsche und Geschirr sind passend ausgesucht. Der komplett eingezäunte Garten ist ebenfalls sehr liebevoll mit einheimischen Pflanzen gestaltet und lässt genug Platz zum Spielen für Kinder. Auch der kleine Pool ist sehr gepflegt und passt sich gut ein. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr großzügig und lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Man merkt immer wieder, dass sich da jemand viele Gedanken darüber gemacht hat, was angenehm und nützlich sein könnte. Bettwäsche, Handtücher usw. waren bei Ankunft sehr reichlich bereitgestellt, insbesondere das Beistellbettchen für unsere Jüngste war ganz charmant vorbereitet. Außerdem lagerten in der schönen und praktischen Küche etliche Lebensmittel wie Tee, Kaffee, Öl und Essig, Gewürze usw., so dass man sich spontan willkommen fühlt und auch richtig kochen kann. Die Lage des Hauses ist hervorragend. Es befindet sich etwas zurückgesetzt an einer ruhigen Wohnstraße am Ortsrand, ganz ohne Durchgangsverkehr. Man hat hier wirklich seine Ruhe. Das Städtchen Comps ist zu Fuß in ca. 15 Min. zu erreichen und bietet ein paar Einkausmöglichkeiten. Ein ordentlich sortierter Intermarché liegt auch nur ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Avignon, den Pont du Gard oder auch Nîmes kann man sehr bequem sowohl mit dem Auto, als auch über gut ausgebaute Fahrradstraßen erreichen. Die Vermieter wohnen auf einem angrenzenden Grundstück und sind außerordentlich nett und hilfsbereit. Sie sorgen dafür, dass man sich als ihr Gast ganz wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir waren eigentlich viel zu kurz dort und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Als Familie mit drei Kindern im Grundschulalter war das Ferienhaus in Comps der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit nach Nimes, Avignon und Arles. Alle Orte waren innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Zudem machten wir von hier aus auch Ausflüge ans Mittelmeer und nach Orange. Alles wunderbar machbar. Zwar hatten wir Hochsommer (keine Klimaanlage). Doch konnte sich die Familie, insbesondere die Kinder, immer ausreichend im sehr gepflegten Pool erfrischen. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in der Nachbarschaft der Eigentümer, die unaufdringlich und mit sehr viel gutem Willen auch uns mit eher geringen französischen Sprachkenntnissen willkommen hießen. Am anderen Ende des Dorfes befindet sich ein augenscheinlich vor allen von Franzosen genutzter Campingplatz, von dem man aber nur bei Spaziergängen an den Fluß etwas mitbekommt.

Vriendelijk ontvangst, heerlijke woning met complete inventaris (wasmachine: erg handig!), fantastische zwembad. Supermarkten vlakbij. De omgeving heeft veel te bieden; diverse mooie steden, pittoreske dorpjes, natuur, fietsmogelijkheden. Kortom wij hebben een fantastische meivakantie gehad, ondanks dat het weer in het begin wat minder was.

Les photos, la description des équipements sont exactement conformes à la réalité. Un endroit très bien entretenu, très joliment décoré, au calme. Un accueil très chaleureux. Des propriétaires très discrets mais présent pour vous donner quelques conseils de visites. Sans aucune exagération, un luxe quand on recherche un endroit pour se reposer, loin du monde. De plus sa situation vous permet de sillonner dans le Gard proche de beaucoup d'endroits de grands intérêts touristiques. A conseiller à des personnes respectueuses....

Das ideale Domizil um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, sehr sauber (neu renoviert) und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet! Als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ziele in der Umgebung (Nimes, Arles, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Camargue. etc.) ideal. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub verbracht, können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns sehr für die entgegengebrachte Gastfreundschaft.

Après de longues heures en voiture (embouteillages), nous étions super heureux de découvrir ce gîte superbe : un endroit calme qui respire vraiment la Provence. Le jardin est idéal, calme, une belle vue, plein de place pour jouer pour les enfants, piscine agréable. A l'intérieur, rien ne manque. Une adresse à conseiller et à garder pour le jour où nous voulons retourner en Provence. Merci encore aux propriétaires pour l'accueil chaleureux !

Gîte calme bien agencé bénéficiant d'une terrasse orientée sud.Idéalement situé dans le triangle Nîmes ,Arles et Avignon.Piste cyclable à proximité permettant de relier Beaucaire. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en tous points! Maison de charme sous la pinède, propre, entretenue offrant tout le confort nécessaire et attendu. Situé dans un environnement extrêmenent calme et reposant, proche d'une piste cyclable aménagé. Localisation idéale pour visiter la région. Arles, Nimes, Avignon à moins de 30 min! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponible. Pour notre part nous recommandons vraiment cette location et pensons y retourner l'année prochaine.
