Group of 2 country houses rented together near a private lake, restored with character and natural materials (stone, wood and terra cotta). 16 to 18 sleepings.
The whole has a pleasant swimming pool. 13 x 7m with view of the Pyrenees, secured, with a shelter for the barbecue.

Very quiet location, perfect for a large family garden. We had two houses, which suited us very well. The houses were decorated in antique rustic French style, inside and out, which suited the properties perfectly. The swimming pool was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, without being at all intrusive,

Super gîte dans un super endroit. On avait passer un week-end en famille (17 personnes) et tout était top. La propriétaire est gentil et bienveillante. On avait besoin de rien. Je recommande!

We loved the location, surrounded by countryside but within easy access to Carcassonne. Both buildings were full of local charm. Perhaps not the best choice if you like everything to be brand new and characterless but just the sort of lived-in place our families enjoy. The rooms and pool were very clean when we arrived and there was everything you could need in both kitchens. The huge tables, indoors and out, meant that the whole family could eat together.
Would definitely return.
