Pleasant guest house located in a house with garden and swimming pool in the center of Saint Remy de Provence.
The room is accessible by an independent entrance. It overlooks a terrace by the pool. The bedroom and the terrace are facing south.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host, Dominique, and her family made it extra special, we were made very welcome. Having a lovely breakfast out doors, under the pergola, chatting in halting English and French, with our delightful hostess, was a great start to each day. Would have loved to stay longer.

I stayed six nights here and really enjoyed being so close to the center of St. Rémy (5 min walk), cycling in the hills and quiet backroads nearby, and talking with Dominique at breakfast time, sometimes with my little bit of French and sometimes with her little bit of English. I really enjoyed the authentic experience of living with a French family because I was in a room in their house and many family members, young and old, were coming and going. It was fun and sociable, yet I had some privacy in my own room when I needed it. The simple breakfast was always fresh produce from the local market.

We loved staying with Dominique in her beautiful home near the center of St. Remy. As advertised, the room we rented had a private entrance, was very clean and comfortable, and had a very modern, lovely bathroom with large shower. The house is a short walk to the center of town and we loved exploring the Saturday market (yum!) and many great restaurants, all just 5 minutes' walk away. I think the best part of staying in this lovely property, however, is spending our mornings with our host, Dominique. What a warm, kind, funny, and delightful person Dominique is! Though we spoke no French and she little English, we somehow managed to laugh our way through conversations. We enjoyed having Dominique join us each morning with her cup of coffee as we ate the delicious breakfast she prepared for us. We stayed with her for four days (wish it was longer!) and each day there was a different collection of breads, fruits, yogurt, etc. offered. Always more than we could eat! And the coffee was fantastic. Dominique was so generous and helpful, even welcoming our guest who lives an hour away and came to spend a delightful afternoon and evening with us in Dominique's beautiful backyard. We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful home and highly recommend it to others.

My husband and I were the guests of Dominique and Jean François for three nights. The accommodation was very private, well appointed and spacious enough with a lovely bathroom. We had access to the kitchen and the beautiful swimming pool. Our host was so kind and generous! Each morning we were served a real French petit déjeuner and Dominque sat and chatted with us. One can easily walk to the major sites and the village of St Rémy. A wonderful experience for us and we would definitely return! Frances

Easy to recommend. Dominique is a delightful host. The room is quiet, cozy, and clean with a pleasant view of the outdoor pool. It is a great place to relax at the beginning and end of the day. Her home is located within a very short stroll of St. Remy's historical center city that contains wonderful shops and restaurants. Try not to miss the outdoor market on Wednesday morning. We would love to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 nights we spent at this private home in the heart of Saint-Remy. We had a bit of trouble finding it as the house is down a narrow lane that appears to be a through street on a map, but in reality, one end is pedestrian only. However, that turned out to be a bonus as this is a quiet neighbourhood location with no traffic noise. It is also close to the centre of town which is only a few minutes walk away. During our stay it was warm enough to have breakfast in the garden 2 of 3 mornings and we enjoyed the grapes picked from the arbour overhead, the homemade jams, fresh croissants and excellent coffee. The decor of the room and bathroom was really tasteful and we liked our separate entrance. But what we particularly enjoyed was chatting with Dominique and we were amazed at the conversations we could have with a limited common language.

We Stayed at the B&B for 4 nights and enjoyed the beautiful warm home and hospitality provided by Dominique and Jean Francois. Being in Saint Remy was like being in a fairy tale. It's almost hard to believe that such a quaint, picturesque, untouched place still exists in the world. Dominique and her bed and breakfast only added to the experience. First of all, her property is beautiful. These pictures do not show just how pretty the garden is. Also, Dominique is so warm and hospitable. She genuinely seems to care about each guest and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The room is cozy and has a great bathroom, clean linens and towels, and everything else you would need. She will have breakfast ready for you at the time you request and although it's a simple breakfast, the bread and her homemade jam are very delicious. If possible, try to visit Saint Remy on a Wednesday when they have their outdoor market. It was one of the highlights of our whole European vacation. Thank you to Dominique for your warmth and hospitality!

We had an amazing time at Dominique's place. The apartment is in the perfect location in the one of the most picturesque village in Provence. The room and the bathroom have everything you need for a short stay. The hostess made everything possible to feel you welcome and at home. We really hope to come back some other time and spend some more time in Provence in the same house.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in June. We had a lovely time. Dominique is kind, friendly, laid back and very patient as I practiced my French with her! The room is clean, bright and has a lovely private modern bathroom. She served breakfast each morning - croissants, brioche, coffee/ tea and fruit which we were able to have outside when the weather was nice. The pool is lovely, albeit a bit cold, but perfect for cooling down after sunbathing! It's only a 5 minute walk into the quaint and beautiful little town of St Remy and about an hour max drive to Avignon, les Beaux de Provence (I recommend you go there!) and Arles (full of history.) Dominique also told us about a little walk to St Paul, where Van Gogh lived for a while (at the asylum.) There are lots of vineyards nearby too. All in all, a lovely stay :)

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2015, and it was perfect for us. Dominique was very easy-going when we were late arriving, and went above and beyond in helping us make our train in Beaucaire on the morning of our departure. The room was sunny and beautiful, and has a brand-new bathroom. The pool was lovely, but the Mistral made it too chilly to make use of most of the time. (Figure triste.) The best thing about our visit was the balance struck by our host between being attentive to us and giving us the privacy we need for a very romantic stay. Because we were waking up our dormant French after 30 years, we enjoyed very much her willingness to chat while we ate the fantastic breakfast she served every morning : croissants, brioches, and coffee. But she wasn't pushy at all, and bid us farewell for each day's adventures as soon as we were ready. She hosted us with true warmth but no pressure. I would return every year if I could afford the plane ticket, and am doing my best to refer friends travelling in Provence to stay in this wonderful location. For those with mobility restrictions : from driveway, there are 3 steps up to the hall, one step from the room up to the bath, a level shower (no ledge or anything) inside the bath, and three steps down to either kitchen or patio for breakfast.

Perfect Stay in Provence

My wife and i enjoyed our beautiful stay in Ste Remy at the B&B with Dominique and Jean Francois being so hospitable and helpful each day. We stayed for 5 days and this was our third year in a row to enjoy their home and family. The town is close by and market day is always a fun time on Wednesday. We look forward to seeing them again next year and will always remember our special times in the kitchen having a very nice breakfast and talking. The home is spotless and well kept.
