Independent and well-equipped village house composed on the ground floor of a large living / dining room, a kitchen opening onto the covered terrace and towards the swimming pool, wc and scullery. On the first floor are 3 large bedrooms, a shower room with wc and a bathroom. A new staircase leads you to a 'Solarium' terrace offering a breathtaking view.
Rare, close to the heart of the village and its shops, this house offers you comfort through a thoughtful renovation (double glazing, air conditioning, modern shower room ...) and a private pool.
The west-facing terrace will allow you to contemplate magnificent sunsets during the aperitif. A private parking lot in front of the house and a garage where you can store your bikes, motorcycles and equipment will give you a plus to perfect your vacation.
Insofar as they do not bring any nuisance to the neighborhood, pets are welcome.

The house is extremely spacious, clean and has lots of amenities. The owner Patrick was very friendly and gave us a lot of information on our arrival. The swimming pool was lovely to go out and cool down. There is a lovely upper terrace too.

Thé gîte is in the middle of the village with wonderful views from the terrace. There is a swimming pool and a good sized terrace a# well as a roof top terrace for morning sun and an evening aperitif. The bedrooms are a good size. The village has a good atmosphere with an excellent bakery, butcher, a wine tasting cave and a small supermarket. The bar is always busy and offers very good pizzas Monday to Sunday. The owners are a lovely very welcoming couple and the house is in excellent condition. The village is close to Gigondas, Châteauneuf du Pape and Avignon and about 1hour 20 from Marseille airport. The area is known for its wine both grand cru and cru.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are going to return. The house in right in the village which has an excellent bakery, small well stocked general store, good bar/ cafe ( with excellent pizzas) butchers and a few other small shops and a very good tourist office and local wine tasting shop. The house has very good sized bedrooms and living room, small kitchen, but fine for a couple or small family, a good sized breakfast room, decent sized terrace and a pool large enough for a cool down and a few strokes. There is a lovely roof top terrace for sunset watching, which are spectacular. The road is very quiet and there is off road parking for one car. The owners were very pleasant and friendly and live in the village .

Great central location
Great central location
We love Sablet and booked this property on the basis of its closeness to the centre of the village, its size, and its pool. The location is very convenient for pre-breakfast trips to the baker, for nipping to the general store, and for the Bar des Sport - all within a couple of minutes walk, The post office, tabac/presse, "La Table de Magali" restaurant, several wineries. and the Tourist Office (good for wine tasting) are also very close. The property is quite large with two bathrooms (one with toilet), three bedrooms, a large living-dining room, well-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining room. If the weather is suitable, there's plenty of space to eat out of doors. Having a pool in a house in the village is a treat. The pool is great for cooling off and is just large enough to swim around, but not for serious exercise. We were just a couple (although we had a friend join us for a couple of nights) and the house is more than large enough for the two of us. We think the house would work well for a family, but the lack of a toilet in the second bathroom might is something two groups of friends might want to consider. Having a garage is useful. We used it for storing our bikes and kept the car parked outside. The garage also houses the washing machine - we weren't clear from the details about this. What else? Communication with the owners was fine. There's TV and internet. And there's a completely private sunroof if you are looking for an all-over tan.

The owners couldn't have been more charming and helpful. The house was very clean and well presented. New bathrooms. Lovely patio area to sit out on. We didn't rent a car, a reasonable taxi ride from Orange which connects to all the trains. Also good bus service to Vaison La Romaine and Orange. Perfect spot if you don't want to rely on a car, and Sablet is a charming old village to explore.

This is a beautiful home, in a fantastic location. Comfortable, clean and very well equipped with fantastic indoor/outdoor living areas. The village of Sablet has everything that you need and the people are warm and welcoming. The local area has so many lovely places to visit and wine makers everywhere. If you like walking there are lots of great walks, particularly in the hills, from the house. Nimes airport is just 50 mins away, Marseille airport 1hr15. The owners of this property Patrick and Marie-Claude are the most charming, welcoming and friendly people, a big thank you to them for the welcome gift on arrival. We would recommend this property anytime of year and we certainly intend to return.

Super large, well-equipped, great location.
Attractive large rooms, high ceilings, good lighting and plenty of electric sockets. Secluded courtyard with swimming pool, all in a quiet area yet it's a short walk to reach bakers, butchers, restaurants and a Maison du Vin. Sablet is an attractive 'perched' village and to our taste a better place to stay than nearby 'plus beaux village' Séguret. It is situated amongst incredibly attractive countryside, well endowed with footpaths and cycle routes. Vaison la Romaine is 15-20 minutes drive away and has many Roman and medieval buildings as well as an extensive market on Thursdays. Renowned red, white, rosé and sweet wines abound in this area. Besides Sablet there is also a Caveau in Cairanne (20 minutes drive) where you can taste wine and buy bottles of other wines to sample back at the house. Then by the end of the week you can buy cases of those you wish to take home, either at the Caveau or direct from the winegrower. There are several Gigondas vineyards that give you a good reception and make excellent wine.
