You will fall under the spell of this pleasing Charente property and its peaceful and cosy atmosphere... The renovation, combining old and contemporary styles, was completed in 2012.
Garden enclosed by old stone walls, garden furniture, sun loungers, salt water swimming pool heated from May to October. Sauna. A pool house with a summer kitchen, cloakroom, toilet.
Private car park within the property as well as a garage for one car. Bike and motorbike shed. Complete tranquillity (no street closeby).

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children had a wonderful holiday in this lovely house, making good use of the pool and also the sauna. The owner, Corinne was very welcoming and provided lots of information about the village and the region. One of us brought a bicycle with her and found it a great way to explore the area. The village is charming and the area has lots to offer. Two members of the group were keen on birdwatching and had great views of both birds of prey and waders. Another member was a keen fisherman and found great places to fish on the coast. There are lots of places to eat out, seafood being exceptionally good.

The house was lovely with everything that we could have wanted. Everyone had a great time, the pool was perfect for adults and children as was the house. We were staying for more than a week and Corinne came in the middle of our visit and changed all the bed linen. It was very hot when we were there but the house is very good at keeping cool. It was within walking distance to the village centre which had everything you might require. There is also a market there on Friday.
Corinne is a charming lady who was always contactable by text and could not have been more helpful.
We all had a delightful holiday.

What a gem!
Excelled our expectations, perfect for 13 of us celebrating a 50th birthday.
The house is beautifully decorated with everything we needed, lovely relaxing garden and pool.
Corinne was extremely welcoming and charming
Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

We had a great stay at the property, as a group of 10 there was plenty of room for us and all rooms were clean and spacious. Corinne met us on arrival and took us through everything. The pool and sauna had a lot of use throughout the week and everyone had a great time. We were only a short drive from La Rochelle and surrounding beaches too. Would happily stay at this property again.
One thing to note is you need to pay a 2000€ deposit on arrival and then it is transferred back after your stay so be aware of bank transaction/exchange fees if you are travelling from another country.
