In the heart of the Haut Languedoc gite sleeps 4 detached house with 2 mountain bikes

We had a fantastic time at the gite in Ichis, Rémi and Roseline were very friendly hosts and Rémi gave us some excellent advice about hiking in the local area. The birdsong we heard each morning was a great start to the day. You can walk directly from the gite into the mountains or travel a short distance by car to the Gorges d’Heric where we saw Mouflons and many birds of prey. There is a nice Boulangerie in the nearby village of Prémian and the medieval town of Olargues is only 15 minutes drive away. Following Rémi’s suggestion, we went to Minerve for a day which was spectacular town sited on rock at the convergence of two rivers. We also visited Carcassone which was enjoyable but too busy for us, we thought that Minerve was much better! We also went to the Narbonne area and visited Gruissan which was a really good place to visit the salt pans. We saw hundreds of Flamingos, an Osprey, Marsh harriers and many other birds, it was an amazing experience. The gite was very well equipped with everything that you could need for a holiday, there wasn’t anything lacking. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time there so we have decided to return at some point in the future to visit the places we didn’t have a chance to. Merci beaucoup Rémi et Roseline pour ces super vacances, nous avons vraiment apprécié le vin et le miel ! Nous reviendrons!

Repos garanti. Endroit très tranquille. Propriétaire très acceuillant, donnant beaucoup de conseils concernant les environs, mais restant toujours discret. Je conseillerais le gîte pour des amoureux de la nature aimant la randonnée et un séjour dans un lieu tranquille. Concernant les enfants, c'est difficile à donner des conseils - pour des enfants et/ou adolescants qui sachent s'occuper non seulment avec la play-station et le gsm et qui bénéficient de parents leur proposant des activités, cela devrait bien se passer aussi.

Ein schönes kleines Häusschen inmitten einer absolut Atemberaubenden Umgebung. Die kleinen Dörfer und felsigen Berge bilden eine absolut Traumhafte Kulisse. Perfekt für wanderlustige und Leute die es ruhig mögen. Es gibt soviel zu entdecken, die schmalen Gassen der Dörfer, oder felsigen Landschaften und Wanderwege. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet und bietet einen gemütlichen und ruhigen Rückzugsort nach einem langen wandertag :) Dazu ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber der praktisch immer erreichbar ist und stets mit Rat und Tat zu Seite steht. Zum Strand sind es ca. 1 1/2 Stunden, was für einen Tagesausflug völlig in Ordnung ist. Uns hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen.

nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce gîte restauré avec soin et bon goût. il est très propre, très bien équipé. Nous avons été particulièrement bien accueillis par les propriétaires . Le propriétaire est de bon conseils pour faire de jolies découvertes dans la région: ballades, baignades, petits restau et jolis villages... c'est un coin très calme, très joli, reposant.
