Ondres: Splendid Villa with heated pool between ocean and pine forest

We enjoyed the area and the ocean! Highly recommend! The villa is nice if you want to experience a real French family house on the ocean side. However if you are looking for a rental villa that is empty of personal items, new and crystal clean like a hotel room - this is something else. The hosts Virginie and Tom are very nice and helpful, many thanks to them!

The property is in a great location, close to cycle tracks and beach. The pool is lovely and out door space great. We hadn’t realised before we arrived that the house is used as a family home, with the owners renting it whilst they go on holiday, as such it’s full of there personal stuff which I didn’t like. It felt like staying with friends rather than renting a house. But not the end of the world and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this property which is close to Ondres plage for one week in August 2019, and it was everything we had hoped for. Inside the house, the bathrooms and bedrooms are all good sizes, clean and suited our group of 2 children and 4 adults perfectly. The landing area provides a wonderful play space for the children with a wide range of toys and games provided by the owners. A well-appointed kitchen and utility room really tops things off inside the house and makes spending time there effortless. The outside space has been well thought out with a private pool with plenty of space around it to relax in the sun, and when the sun gets too strong – there’s a cool, shaded area. Again, the owners have generously provided plenty of play equipment for the children (and grownups!) to use. We all loved our time there, and highly recommend the property.
