Transylvanian country house

The house had an amazing variety of antique folk items within it. Everything about it was authentic and interesting. We really enjoyed seeing Transylvanian village life up close—the town tavern, teenagers hanging out at night, neighbors talking, etc.

The house has very thick walls, causing one bedroom to lack reliable Wi-Fi. A Wi-Fi extender or too might help to solve this problem. The water also went a little bit quickly from hot to cold and back, but I don’t think there’s too much that could be done about that. A coffee maker would be a nice addition!

The location is perfect, with a large garden, two large terraces, children play zone and lovely view. The house has spacious rooms, beautifully decorated with traditional items and pottery. The kithen has everything you need, except for the coffee maker which we were unable to locate (but that was not really a problem, since we brought our own - espresso freaks 😁). The owner promptly responded to all our inquities. Vețca is a quiet little village that comes alive on friday evenings when people come to spend the weekends there - the guest house across the street may become quite. However, you may not be disturbed, since the walls of the house are so thick that you will not be heard from the next room - even if you shout. 😂

The bathroom next to the bedroom downstairs is not really welcoming; the smell of the water there is really unpleasant, to say the least. There was some leakage from the bathroom upstairs as well, pouring in the kitchen, but we notified the owner and he said it will be fixed.
