About this cottage rental
Seabreeze Cottage is located in a quiet bushland setting but still very close to all the amenities of beautiful Avoca Beach. Relax on the balcony with the sounds of birds in the tree tops. The surf and children's rock pool are an easy 3 minute walk away. The Avoca Beach theatre is about 1 minute's walk 'just down the road'. There are a variety of alfresco cafes and restaurants to choose from, all within easy walking distance.
The cottage is on two levels. The main level has three bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with a trundle bed underneath. This bed can be rolled out and is suitable for a young child. The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds.
The well-equipped kitchen is part of the dining/living area. The living room opens on to a large, partially covered balcony which has a gate to help contain young children. The balcony is a very pleasant place to relax with views of the tree tops and the sounds of the birds.
The cottage has polished wood floors. There is air conditioner in the living area and ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms.
The lower level has a separate entrance. This level has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite, and a kitchenette in the foyer. Outside there is a patio with an outdoor setting.
The house is ideal for two families to share.
For smaller groups, it is possible to rent just the upper level. The lower level cannot be rented separately from the upper level.

We were visiting friends in Avoca and they were very impressed with the location as were we, it is literally a two minute walk from a beautiful surf beach and restaurants and one minute from the theatre. The property was very comfortable and had a newly renovated feel with everything you could want. The downstairs section, which is self contained, was very suited to our party which included two visitors from the Uk, who got to enjoy their own space. Can particularly recommend the balcony in the morning sunlight. Thank you for a lovely stay.

great communication, wonderful home.
Its a short stroll downhill (ish) to the beach.
I couldn't believe we got this great place and great location.
(other places were closer to the beach and tiny flats) this is totally alone.
Easy to communicate with the hosts were lovely.
(there is a short stroll up to the house, about 30 meters that an incline, managed easily by everyone in our group but if you needed assistance walking you may ask further questions)
lots of room, 3 bedrooms. Lots of outdoor space.

The setting of the property is idyllic. The location is almost perfect. In fairness to the property owner the weather and the blaring music from a nearby neighbour was out of her control. On entering the property, I felt, this could be my dream home.
However, putting my renting for 3 nights only head back on I started to spot little things.
The beds? Mattresses hard, really hard, blinds past their use by date, lamps dust encrusted. (It’s in the detail)
By contrast the floors are beautiful. The garden lovely. In truth, we were driven away by awful mattresses and the weather.
