About this house rental

It is a character house in local stone. It is located in the heart of the village on the route du Nez de Jobourg (one of the highest cliffs in Europe) not far from an access to the customs road very famous for hiking in the region. Cape Hague is only a few kilometers away and can be reached on foot via these paths.
The house was completely restored in 2016 and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), a lounge area with wood stove (reception fire depending on the season).
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, a shower room and a separate toilet.
A courtyard allows you to park your car and a large garage is available.
The exterior is under development.
Animal accepted by owner's agreement.
Beds made.
Weekend and short stay rental possible depending on season.
Holiday checks accepted.
Cleaning charge possible for 30 euros

Nous sommes venus passer un week end pour profiter du sentier des douaniers, et nous n'avons pas été déçu ! Le sentier est accessible à pied du gite. Nous avons passé le week end sans prendre la voiture :) Accueil très sympathique et très arrangeant. Le gite est bien équipé. Je garde l'adresse pour en profiter de nouveau. Très très bonne expérience dans ce charmant gîte avec tout le confort souhaité. La connexion internet est parfaite et nécessaire car les téléphones portables se connectent difficilement à leur réseau. Le gîte est parfaitement situé pour des ballades, à proximité du Nez de Jobourg ou de la baie d'Ecalgrain. Les propriétaires sont serviables et attentionnés. Merci pour votre accueil et le petit cadeau à l'arrivée.

Das Haus war mit allem Notwendigem ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders nett war die Begrüßung durch Madame Samson mit einer Flasche Cidre und Petit Fours. Leider haben wir bei unserer Abreise 3 Brötchen im Kühlschrank vergessen. Hoffentlich hat dies den Eindruck von uns nicht allzu sehr geschadet.

Vent, pluie, soleil, nous avons tout eu, ce qui ne nous a pas empêchés de découvrir les environs à pied, le long de la mer et en campagne. Nous avons aimé le contraste entre le bleu de la mer, le vert du bocage et le gris des maisons. Sur notre maison pour une semaine, nous ne dirons que du bien, confortable et joliment agencée, nous avions tout ce qu’il nous fallait. Très bon accueil des propriétaires avec cidre au frais et friandise. La présence de l’usine et du nucléaire? Assez facile à oublier, invisible depuis la plupart des sites en bord de mer et puis ... le Cotentin ne peut pas être un désert ne vivant que du tourisme. 😉
