cottage in the Southern Alps with lovely mountain views

Overall, we loved it! The cottage is situated on a quiet hillside with a beautiful view. Marc met us at check in and gave us a tour of the place. We were asked to pay for sheets and towels (17 per bed for sheets and 12 for towels). Marc was very communicative - for example he brought us trash bags when there were no replacements. It was easy to do laundry - we just needed to provide our own detergent. We went on some lovely hikes right from the place and it was easy to drive to world class sport climbing nearby. Thank you to Marc for a wonderful stay!

A superb base for any local activities ie: skiing, rock climbing, flying and walking. The house is well equipped with everything you would need, it is vary spacious and has great views across Gap (the nearest main town) towards the Alps. This is the second time I have stayed here and the owners Marc and Isabelle are extremely friendly. They respond to any booking requests very quickly. The only other things you may need to now is that you have to pay a deposit on arrival in case you damage anything which is fully refunded if you treat the house with respect and bedding and towelling are not provided in the price but are available for hire. I can only add that if you stay here you will not be disappointed.

Nice view in alle directions to the high mountains. Rustique house in a personal country style. Good kitchen, nice bath rooms, good beds. Bring your roadbike, and encounter hills better that anything else. Hiking directly from the house. Numerous mountain bike trails. If your are a glider pilot: 10 minutes to Gap Tallard. Your host is an expert in outdoor acitivities in the mountains. Very recommendable. Jensen

Nous avons beaucoup apprecie notre sejour dans cette maison tres accueillante et bien amenagee. Beaucoup d'espace pour notre famille de 2 adultes + 3 enfants, proprete irreprochable, literie confortable, plein de rangement dans les chambres et salles de bain, un bon choix de casseroles/ustensiles en cuisine, bref rien a redire! Propriete au calme, dans la nature et en meme temps proche de tout (les commerces sont a 10 min en voiture). Contact tres sympa avec le proprietaire qui nous a donne des recommandations bien utiles pour les activites a faire dans le coin. La region est superbe, on voudrait bien y revenir, meme si on habite a 10,000 km de la - si l'occasion se presente, on re-louera cette maison sans hesitation!
