About this chalet rental

Located in the heart of the prestigious Chamonix Mont-Blanc, the Chalet des Glaciers welcomes you to paradise for mountain sports, the cradle of skiing and mountaineering. Completely independent, this pretty little wooden chalet has about 60 m² on 3 levels. Lounge, living room / kitchen, two bedrooms, a balcony, 2 terraces and a garden. Separate toilet and bathroom - Altitude: 1100 m.
Several options are available:
Linen rental - €9 per bed
Towels - €5 per person
Firewood - €9.50 per bag
Cleaning: Optional. Payable directly to the owner at the end of your stay: €70
Electricity consumption will be charged based on meter readings taken at the beginning and end of your stay.
Access via a 25-meter staircase - not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
RENTALS ARE FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. For any other period, please contact me.
If you arrive after 10 PM, a €50 reception fee will apply.

This cosy Chalet was our home for one month. It was well-equipped with everything necessary to make living there easy, like good kitchen utilities, good beds and pillows/blankets, dishwasher, washing-machine, wood for the fire-place and so on. Outside patio is perfect, with sun and shadow available all day. Walking down to central Les Bossons (about 15 min) or even to Chamonix center (about 45 min) is not near but for sure doable, we did it several times. As we were travelling with our baby, we found that possibilities for walking with a baby stroller around the cabin was quite limited, we only walked along the one road that goes up to the cabin. Though there are nice paths to walk up the moment, as long as you don´t need to bring a stroller or such. Overall a really nice place to stay in!! And the owner is real pleasant and kind. We can highly recommend this accomodation!!

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine. Le chalet est petit mais très fonctionnel et agréable à vivre pour une famille de cinq. Nous avons profité de la cheminée et de la belle vue sur la vallée. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec le propriétaire qui a été très arrangeant malgré notre heure d'arrivée plus que tardive !

excellent emplacement. les escaliers pour accéder au chalet peuvent ne pas convenir à tous, mais pour nous le chalet était parfait (famille de 4, 2 enfants de 6 et 10 ans)

Séjour au calme, joli chalet ancien, bien agréable. Quelques achats / travaux seraient les bienvenus (le parasol, le réfrigérateur mériteraient d'être changés, chambre du bas un peu humide). Proche des Houches et de Chamonix, idéal pour faire des randos. Petite surprise à l'arrivée en apprenant qu'il faut payer l'électricité en plus. Ce ne sont que quelques euros pour une semaine mais nous aurions aimé le lire dans le descriptif de la location.

Petit soucis d´humidité remontant par le sol .... pouvant créer un sentiment de manque de propreté et d´humidité ... Tres bonne accueil du propriétaire . Ce chalet est idealement bien place avec une vue imprenable sur le mont Blanc et a quelques metres des sentiers de redonnées et du telesiege .... Un tres bon petit restaurant ( le Tremplin) est a quelques centaines de metres .....

This wooden chalet was exactly what we have been looking for to spend our family Christmas holidays. Beautiful area and lots of snow. Chalet itself is cozy and fully functional. As a disadvantage, you cannot reach the chalet directly by car, as there are stairs to take (announced on the site). Therefore with any shopping or other heavy items up and down the mountain every time may be less convenient. Next to that, mounting a sort of fence or handrail by the stairs would be a good idea, as with the snow it's slippy and the mountain is steep. But overall we've had a great experience, recommended.

Chalet en bois typique, vue magnifique et bien chauffé pour les frileux(ses). Tout est propre. Parfait lorsque l on est accompagné d un chien car il y a de l espace autour. Le propriétaire est vraiment sympathique. Nous sommes ravis. Un bémol néanmoins auprès des services Abritel avec qui nous avons dû batailler pour obtenir réparation et remboursement d une erreur de location engendrée par eux. Une vraie galère pour les avoir au téléphone ( des heures!)d autant que ce sont des personnes différentes qui répondent, qu il faut à chaque fois redonner des expliquations pour obtenir des réponses dissemblables. Galère!

Belle propriété avec le confort et l'équipement nécessaire, très bien pour des vacances au calme et à proximité des commerces. Un seul bémol et de taille: l'accès par un escalier de + ou - 60 marches voire le double si on veut éviter de marcher dans l'herbe mouillée.

Casa genial para una família de 5 personas o menos. Todo correcto. Ahora no lleves muchas maletas, hasta la casa tendrás que bajar unos 30 o 40 peldaños. Nos cobraron la electricidad aparte, cosa que yo no vi en ningún lugar, pero soy despistado.
