About this apartment rental
Beautiful duplex apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large private roof terrace, very bright, quiet and completely renovated, in the heart of the most central and typical district of Lisbon: SANTA CATARINA.
On the 2nd and 3rd floors of a quiet building, our apartment has beautiful views of Lisbon, the terrace is ideal for sharing a drink or relaxing after a day of walking and sightseeing.
The 2nd floor consists of the living room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with drying washer. The 3rd floor contains two attic rooms and the beautiful terrace.
There is a 160cm bed, two 80cm beds, a bathroom (massage shower) large fitted kitchen, internet wifi and international cable TV.
The apartment is in the pedestrian area of Santa Catarina, access by car is not possible, you must use one of the nearby paying public parking lots, then walk to the apartment.

This location is absolutely perfect. Just minutes from as many shops, restaurants, cafés, and squares as you can imagine. The walks are through the beautiful Lisbon streets.The host was very responsive and met us at the front door, which was great as it was our first time in a new country let alone city. I would highly recommend this rental. What sensitive part is the spacious outdoor terrace. Ending a night with a glass of wine Overlooking a lit up city is nothing short of magical.

The stairs are very steep but that's the nature of the older buildings you see in this area and around the older sections of any town in Portugal. The apartments are long and narrow. This one was very well furnished.
Do not rent a car. It would be a waste of money and hard to park on those narrow cobble stone streets. Taxis are not expensive, buses and old style trams are easy to find.
The views from the terrace were great especially at night. The harbor area was about a 15 minute walk away.
We took the recommendation of the owner to eat at his father and mother's restaurant. It was beyond great. I can't recall the name but it was restaurant #1 in his listing book. It across the street from the British Consulate. The owner is a great guy and loves to talk with his customers.
Take a taxi from the airport. It costs about 12 - 15 euros. When we left the owner arranged for our taxi to leave, made life a lot easier.

We arrived late at night and the owner was already waiting for us at the place (thanks Gui!). The communication with the owners was perfect throughout the whole stay. Appartment is well located right in the city center, clean and including all necessary amenities. The place is not spatious (2nd bedroom is more suited for kids, the ceiling is really low) but the rooftop terrace is just perfect.
We would definitely recommend this place!
