If feels reductive to call this a "property" which is what booking.com wants me to review. This is not a property. It's an experience. Everything about eco horqueta is what you dream of when traveling. An excellent host, Lorraine, who runs eco horqueta with the very essence of 'hospitality'. Amazing food (seriously!), we ate there every evening and couldn't get enough. The location is perfect, close to Boquete, the best trails, and all the amazing coffee farms.

Het is een kleinschalige accommodatie op een afgelegen plek met prachtige natuur en mooi uitzicht op de vulkaan. Geluiden van de kippen en haan op het erf, andere vogels en brulapen in de jungle zijn fantastisch om mee wakker te worden. Lorraine is super lief, gastvrij en behulpzaam. We hebben een avond daar gegeten en het was heerlijk! Ook het ontbijt was erg lekker. Alles vers gemaakt. We hebben genoten en komen graag nog eens terug!
Vanuit het stadje is het zo’n 20 minuten omhoog rijden over een slingerweg, die op sommige delen flinke gaten heeft. Voor ons was dit prima, want het is een mooi weggetje door de natuur, over enkele bruggetjes en met mooi uitzicht.
