We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient—Volendam is only a 10-minute drive away, where we enjoyed walking around and tasting the most delicious Dutch herring. Amsterdam city center is also just a 30-minute drive, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel has a lovely bar on the ground floor, perfect for a tasty dinner and a great selection of local beer in the evening. Our room was spacious and consisted of two separate rooms, which made our stay even more comfortable.
The only minor downside was the noise on Friday and Saturday nights, as the bar nearby stayed open late. Our room also overlooked the church clock tower, so the hourly chimes could be heard. Fortunately, the bells did not bother us, but light sleepers may want to keep this in mind.
