Located on the Aquitaine coast about fifty kilometers west of Bordeaux, between the Pointe de Grave and Arcachon Bay, the city of Lacanau is part of Médoc and Landes consists of three distinct sites: Lacanau City, Lacanau at the edge of the Atlantic ocean and Lake (20 km²) with multiple hamlets.

The house is managed by a small real estate company, whose owner gave us a warm welcome, was available at short notice and always found a solution.
The house is very quiet. Apart from the fact that the lawn on the golf course is mowed at 6 in the morning, we didn't notice anything. The house is from the 80's but well maintained and well equipped. The kitchen is even very well equipped, so you can cook properly and even have sharp knives.
We enjoyed the view of the beautiful garden and the golf course from the fully covered terrace and enjoyed the large swimming pool.
Bicycle ride to the beaches and Lacanau Ocean is 15 minutes. So our teenager could move on their own.
The house was for us a wonderful place for our vacation.

We stayed in this house 1 week in August 2018. I stayed previously in the couple of properties on this estate and this house exeeded all my expectations. It is very clean, very well equipped. Our host Gabi was very helpful.
