Both the property and location were fantastic. Central to so many adventures around the Loire. Great restaurants in the village. François was a wonderful host.

What a wonderful accommodation! The rooms were large, the bathrooms clean and modern. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The linens were fresh and white. The most important part of this stay was the magic.... Lavendar by the bushelful. Private pool.
Wonderful grounds. Overarching beautiful chateau. We were in a mini castle...amazing stay for my 11-year-old granddaughter. The innkeeper was friendly, helpful and lived on property. Even though we had a few problems with the rooms....(burned out lamps etc.), he immediately addressed the problems and fixed them. In addition, the town of Azay la Rideau contains one of the most beautiful, restored chateaus in the region. The shopping is easy with a large store on the outskirts of town in which you can purchase anything, You are also in the center of the Loire Valley. Wineries and chateaus are everywhere. This was truly a wonderful choice for our magical trip.
