About this cottage rental

small house recently renovated in the heart of the luberon regional park,
suitable for nature lovers, calm environment, bordered by fields of lavender and oak trees whose shade is much appreciated.
This maisonette consists of a bedroom, a bathroom, wc and a living room with fitted kitchen and an additional sleeping area.
Ideally located for hikes in the magnificent Luberon massif and the start of walks through woods, lavender fields, discovery of bories and old Provencal country houses.
the shed is located 1.5 km from the very beautiful medieval and picturesque village of Saignon with its rock and the remains of the castle and 5 km from the town of Apt (in the Vaucluse prefecture) with supermarkets, shops, cinema ...
Very well located also for visits to our most beautiful villages in Provence which are all nearby (Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France, Roussillon village des ocres, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Rustrel with its Provençal Colorado ...)
Come and discover our many colorful Provence markets, full of flavors with tastings of local products and wines.
Take advantage of the numerous summer festivals in the area, the most famous of which is the Avignon Festival.

Perfect place to Get Away to

Perfect place to Get Away to

We have been here before, and it is still perfect. Wouldn't suit anyone that liked constant "life" around them as it is a bit isolated, but for us that is the huge plus point. The place itself is immaculate, and has absolutely everything you could need. The location is almost magical, well away from the nearest (beautiful) village. If you love walking or especially cycling, it is wonderful, with quiet roads, and even Mont Ventoux, legendary cycling mountain, visible from the property, and about 40 km away. The wonderful lack of light pollution means the sky at night is beautiful and worth staying up late for. Best thing about it is Christelle, who has made the place beautiful, and is always available if needed. While we were there, France had a heatwave, and Christelle e-mailed to make sure we were ok, and did we need anything. All in all, can't recommend this place highly enough. If you are happy with a quiet place, surrounded by natural beauty, and are into cycling, walking, markets, french villages, this is well worth checking out. Our second time here, don't think it will be our last. Thanks once again Christelle. ps I havent even mentioned the Lavender

The Best Shed in the World!!

We enjoyed our time staying here in the Shed so much. It was one of the best and most relaxing locations we have ever stayed in. The house has been beautifully renovated and is fully equipped for all self catering needs. For example, it has a washing machine and boiler with on-demand hot water. Water out of the tap is potable. The Lavender fields around the property are amazing and the Bee's make a gentle hum all day. Christelle is a great owner and made us so welcome. Nothing was a problem. Thanks So Much Christelle!

This place is so good. The owner has thought of everything and it is such a comfortable place. If you love to Cycle, this is a great place. You can see Mont Ventoux from the garden(ok,it's 40 km away, but what a day out). Walkers will love it, it is beautiful. Nature Lovers, if you want to wake up to the gentle hum of bees on Lavender(which starts 20 yards away) this really is the place for you. Beautiful clear nights for stargazing.Can't praise it highly enough. Go there, it is so beautiful.

Lovely, very well designed small house with everything you need. We spent a week. Great location - house is situated in a large garden surrounded by lavender fields and very near the beautiful village of Saignon. Perfect for a couple.

Beaucoup de cachet! Situation idyllique au milieu des champs de lavandin; Proximité des cultivateurs; à la bonne époque, on observe de près leurs allées et venues et le ballet des machines. Bouffées de parfum en prime. Soirées et nuits parfaitement calmes, sous les étoiles (pas de pollution lumineuse). A 10 min de la ville et de ses services. Très chouette bivouac!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in der Natur verbracht. Das Häuschen ist klein, ist aber gut ausgerüstet und liegt in einer zauberhaften Umgebung zwischen Garrigue und Lavendelfeldern. Bei Spaziergängen überraschen einen immer wieder großartige Blicke ins Tal (auf Apt z.B) oder auch auf das pittoreske, spektakulär auf einem Felsen gelegene Dorf Saignon. Dort kann man Kleinigkeiten einkaufen und gut essen gehen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste bemüht! Ein schönes Ziel für Naturfreunde!

De woning klein, maar voor 2 personen groot genoeg. De uitrusting uitstekend, niets te kort. Proper, helder en koel door de luiken en de dikke muren. Volledig omgeven door lavendelvelden. De eerste woning op ongeveer 400 m. Dus, stilte, stilte, stilte. Alleen de krekels, een haas, een uil en zelfs een een "sanglier" waren de enige aanwezigen. Prachtig

Tolle Ferien in wunderschönem Häuschen

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem toll ausgestatteten Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Das Haus ist neu renoviert und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und geschickt gelöst. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und als ein Liegestuhl kaputt ging, hat sie am selben Tag für einen Austausch gesorgt. Vor dem Haus ist ein riesiger Platz mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem kleinen Garten. Abends kann man den Blick in die Natur genießen, z.B. direkt auf den bekannten Berg Mourre Nègre, hinter dem Haus hat man Aussicht auf den Mont Ventoux. Ganz in der Nähe ist das typische Provence-Städtchen Saignon mit Bäckerei & Café 'Chez Christine' (super Brot!) wo man draußen sitzend dem Leben dort zusehen kann. Wir haben viele Touren in die naheliegenden Orte im Luberon gemacht (ganz toll Colorado Provençal de Rustrel und Bonnieux!). Wir werden wieder hingehen!

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances. La région est superbe, il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter chaque jour (villes, villages pittoresques... nature...) Le cabanon est superbe, bien agencé et surtout très bien rénové correspondant aux photos. Si vous aimez le calme, la nature, n'hésitez pas!!! c'est ce qu'il vous faut... Une pensée particulière à Christelle (la propriétaire) : dès le jour de l'arrivée, pas de stress, si vous êtes dans les bouchons, elle vous informe qu'elle peut vous donner les clés à l'heure où vous arrivez!!! la location est pourvue de draps, de serviettes de toilettes, de produits d'entretien, café, thé... et un petit présent vous attend!!! félicitations, nous reviendrons dans ce paradis!!! Wir (Paar, 55/57) haben uns für eine Woche im September hier einquartiert und die Zeit absolut genossen. Weit ab von allem, konnten wir so richtig relaxen. Eine *****-Empfehlung für alle die, die nicht abends noch schnell mal zum Shoppen losrennen oder zum Tanzen wollen. Hier kann man sich wirklich entspannen und Seele baumeln lassen: Wunderbarer Blick auf Luberon sowie Vaucluse plus tolle Rad- und Wanderwege in unmittelbarer Nähe. Dazu ein kleines, bestens ausgestattetes Häuschen und eine super-nette Vermieterin. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder...

Le cabanon nous a enchantés de par son confort et sa situation. .Quel calme! Évidemment, la météo s'est mise de la partie pour rendre notre séjour tout à fait réussi. Grâce à notre logeuse et à son esprit d' initiative 'nous avons trouvé l'endroit après quelques tentatives infructueuses dues à notre distraction. Cet endroit est vraiment parfait comme point de départ pour les randonnées que nous avions projetées ou pour le farniente au milieu des champs de lavande (malheureusement déjà récoltée). Évidemment, si vous n'aimez pas l'isolement 'il faut chercher un autre endroit. Les renseignements fournis par l'abondante documentation mise à notre disposition nous ont permis d'organiser au mieux nos promenades, nos emplettes aux marchés locaux etaussi de ne pas rater les endroits à visiter absolument qui sont nombreux dans le Lubéron. Nous recoomanderons ce gîte à nos amis.
