About this apartment rental

This exceptional apartment where the decoration & equipment have been brought to the highest level benefits from an ideal position at foot of slopes (passage du retour skieurs- skiers return passage 2 behind the chalet).
The interior has been entirely renovated w/ antique panelling, coffered ceilings, curtains, Arpin cushions & blankets, sofas & buffalo armchairs from Duvivier, etc..
Its large living room w/ chimney inserted, TV & large screen LCD & satellite connection, DVD player-recorder, high speed internet access, etc. will be much appreciated.
All the bedrooms have been personalised w/ different touches & all have private bathrooms & wcs, flat screen TVs and office corners or real offices.
After a good day of skiing, you’ll also have the choice between the professional spa, the large sauna, mosaic hammam or even the games room, all only accessible to you.

We loved the house; it was big enough for our group and the hot tub and sauna were fun! However, Jean-Luc was a nightmare. He had no respect for our time or our privacy. I've never experienced anything like it. For example, upon check-in he made us miss our dinner reservation because he insisted on spending almost 2 hours walking us through various house rules, even though we told him repeatedly that we had to leave. Real examples of house rules he detailed include: the sauna temperature can't go past 5/7, the fireplace is only to be used for wedding anniversaries, the wool table covers in the living room must be removed when using the living room. Then, he showed up twice daily for various reasons. This wouldn't have been too bad but each time he just walked right into the chalet and around the house without our permission. Real examples of his reasons to come in included: the oven light needed replacing (we said we didn't care), he wanted to show a couple the house, he wanted to give us extra laundry soap, he saw that the lights were on and wanted to make sure we were home. These intrusions again made us late for our dinner reservation on the second day and a ski lesson on the third day because he wouldn't leave. Thankfully, we eventually asked VRBO to intervene by telling him that the host policy states that he can't bother guests like this and he stopped. Thanks so much to Kyle from customer service who listened to our issue and solved it!

Kitchen is tiny, difficult for 12. Walls are thin. Facilities are generally good, small niggles like "toilet paper provided," more like half a roll in each and provide the rest yourself.

The accommodation worked well for our two families - ski out easy and ski in possible for good skiers. Regular bus however made it easy to get back with bars/restuarants only 10/15 mins walk. We had a couple of problems ie electrical fault that Jean Luc sorted for us. The Hot tub was not working for our stay which was a pain so I am hoping we may get a rebate. fingers crossed!!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay very much. Apartment has lots of amenities including terrace with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Central ski in and ski out location. Jean Luc did everything to make our stay comfortable.
