About this apartment rental
The Snowcrest complex offers unparalleled views where it sits just atop a hillside across from the Resort base area. Just a short walk across the footbridge will give you access to the main transit center and the base shops, restaurants, and lifts. Relax after your adventures in the communal hot tub and grilling area with direct views of Crested Butte Mountain.
This 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condominium offers a unique and cozy floor plan. As you enter the condo you'll see dining and entertaining, seating for 6 next to the wood-burning fireplace. Step down into the living room and unwind in front of the large flat-screen TV or socialize with whoever's cooking in the kitchen. Bar seating for 3. There is an updated full bathroom off of the living room, as well as balcony access. Walk up the eclectic ski-trimmed stairs for both bedrooms access. There is a queen in the master with vaulted ceilings and two twins in the guest bedroom. Another full bathroom is located on this floor as well. This complex offers 1 outdoor permit. Outdoor parking is first-come, first-serve.
The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Wood Creek Lodge is located on the summer town route schedule which is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes. In the winter, Wood Creek Lodge is on a special condo loop shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes and brings you to the base area. The shuttle is not needed for ski access when the West Wall lift is in operation.

This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. Truly the best location for crested butte. Walk across pedestrian bridge to the base and the bus to town. Not to mention the view is amazing. Cozy spot with updated bathrooms and kitchen.

Property was as advertised, spacious, clean, updated kitchen with everything needed for home cooked meals. Could have used more bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) for pull out couch. Washer/Dryer not in condo, we never did find where that was on the property. Hot Tub was clean and relaxing after a day of skiing. Short walk across bridge to ski lifts, amazing views from the deck of the condo! However, A LOT of VERY NARROW stairs going up to the condo which made it difficult in ski gear. Was hard to load/unload the car, carry groceries, gear, etc. Parking was difficult, lot at the condo was full when we arrived. We also had 2 cars and asked where to park the other car which proved to be very difficult anywhere in town unless you are staying at a hotel that has a garage, but they won't let you even pay for parking if you're not staying there. No overnight parking anywhere in CB, beware you will be towed!

Everything was clean and nice furniture. You should disclose the steps- thin, narrow and steep going to condo. I am a fit senior but otherwise I wouldn't be able to climb them! Plus, if you don't not anyone up in the loft, Take off the ladder.

We love coming to Crested Butte. This was our 5th time coming to ski. This might have been our overall least favorite place to stay. It was a fine place to stay. We ski’ed, we ate, we slept and enjoyed the town. The good- it is really close to the main village. Great location for mountain accessibility. With kids this was nice to not have to hassle with parking/bus.- unit was clean and had the space as advertised. 2 bedrooms upstairs and kitchen/living space on main level. 1 full bath upstairs and 1 updated bath downstairs - property management group was great. They let us know that our unit was ready early, very responsive and great customer service. Would rent from that property management group again. The bad - stairs, 24 of them to be exact, to get from where you park your car and into the unit. More to get to the village. Can be tough with kids and ski gear. Be prepared.- mostly out dated unit- had trouble with cable the entire time, property management came and fixed when called. - hot water in main leave shower was significantly colder than upstairs shower. Not really sure why. - full-sized bed uncomfortable- great views, unfortunate that not really a patio/balcony to enjoy itWe’ll be back to CB. Won’t be staying here again.
