We loved staying in this quaint, historic dovecoat. Jacques, our host, was wonderful and took care of everything! The grounds and gardens are beautiful! We loved having breakfast outside in the garden area and the house had everything we needed. The area is peaceful. Quick drive into Avignon.

The location was perfect for visiting many nearby sites and has easy access to the bike trails. The gite is in very good condition and very clean. It is well furnished and decorated. We were able to cook our evening meals in the kitchen which was adequately stocked for making meals. The outside areas around the property are very well cared for and we enjoyed siting out in the late afternoon. Check in and out was easy and the owners are responsive to questions before and during our stay. We definitely recommend this property for a couple looking to get off the beaten path but still be in easy driving distance to many sites and services.

We loved our stay at this property. It was a great reprieve from the cities of the rest of our vacation. My son was disappointed that the pool wasn’t ready for the season (we visited in May) but it was wonderful to hang out in the garden. The host was responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommended.

Nice small villa for 2 persons (max.) in a huge beautiful green garden. The owners are a friendly elderly couple. Check In and Check Out was uncomplicated. Good starting point to explore Avignon and surrounding, but you need a car. Unfortunately the pool was closed and there were many mosquitos in the house. We would recommend fly screens like in the house of the owners.

The host was really friendly and gave us many suggestions to visit Provance.

It was incredible to stay in a charming, country house with easy access to Avignon and Châteauneuf-du- Pape. Our hosts were very gracious. They went out of their way to help us. The view of the sunrise across the fields and the ability to enjoy wine and cheese in the garden added to the experience. Highly recommended this experience.

This renovated dovecote has much to offer for those wanting to be in the country. We used it as a base to explore the Cote du Rhone area. The hosts are very pleasant and kind and had several binders of information on various spots for day trips. The upstairs loft bedroom was reached by sturdy stairs and was also where the very large bathroom was located. This was probably the best room in the house and was very clean with an excellent shower and large bath towels. The main floor felt like it was tired from a season of guests and the kitchen cupboards needed some culling and a good cleaning to make it sparkle and items like cracked wine glasses and broken utensils need replacing. If WiFi is important do note that there is no WiFi at all in the dovecote and to get reception you need to go to the patio at the host’s home.
