About this house rental

Ideally located in the heart of the village of Roussillon, ranked one of the most beautiful villages in France, close to all amenities (café, restaurant, art galleries, shops, doctor, pharmacy, post office and weekly local market), our house offers great benefits and all the comfort and tranquility for couples or families. It has a beautiful view over the valley of the fairies, the starting point for wonderful excursions in this corner of Provence with its picturesque hilltop villages, its ocher cliffs, and lavender scents.
There are 2 double bedrooms with views overlooking the valley and a single bedroom with twin beds (sleeps 6 in all). The fully equipped kitchen (double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster) opens onto a large living room with dining room and living room. Cable TV with many channels, DVD player, stereo with CD and WiFi. Many games as well as books and DVDs are open access. Take sunbathing on the sunny and private terrace offering stunning views of the valley of the fairies and the Luberon mountains in the background.
Bed sheets and linens are provided. Facilities washing machine and dryer. A parking pass will be provided for free access to three public parking.
Note that the presence of an open staircase is perhaps not suitable for young children.

Four of us spent a delightful 5 nights in Naveen’s home. It has lovely artistic wrought iron banisters and patio fencing. The views while enjoying wine and cheese on that patio will enchant you. Eclectic art fills the walls. The colors of Provence are everywhere. Excellent restaurants are in walking distance, a superb boulangerie is nearby for your morning croissants and a small grocery are all within easy walking distance.

A wonderful property with amazing views, a central location and, sounds of nature. We stayed after the summer season with cool mornings. The property is well ventilated, being perched high, so the breeze was able to flow through, keeping the property cool. Naveen and Christian kept us updated from the get-go and checked in while we stayed there. We found the lighting, especially in the dining area lacking; this can be easily improved with some lamps.

A lovely accommodation in the charming ochre town of Roussillon. In the upstairs living area, big windows brought beautiful light to the home and opened to a small patio overlooking the rooftops and hill beyond. Downstairs the main bedroom was very comfortable, and there were 2 more we didn’t use. Bathrooms on both levels. We had to shop for extra toilet paper and laundry soap. No dryer, but there are small drying racks. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. Wifi was unavailable until the final day of our stay—likely the provider’s issue. All in all, this was a delightful stay in a home of elegant simplicity and a wonderful base for exploring the beautiful Luberon.

Sadly our trip was cut short due to UK quarantine regulations, but we thoroughly enjoyed our few days in this beautiful area of France. The house is right in the centre of Roussillon but once inside, it is a haven of peace in an otherwise very popular village and the view from the terrace is stunning. Numerous restaurants are literally outside the door, as well as excellent ice-cream! The only slight negative was the carpark, which although only a short walk away, got extremely busy during the day (may have been due to the fact that it was peak French holiday time?) and there was always a risk that it would be full if we went out and came back before late afternoon. All in all though, an excellent stay!

The house was ideally located in the heart of Roussillon, just steps from three of the best restaurants in town. It was quiet, the furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen had all the appliances and utensils we needed to make some of our meals. Having a pass to use the nearby parking lot was very helpful. Neassa, the property manager, was very easy to work with and responded to my texts within minutes. I would be very happy to return to this house again.

Lovely, spacious house in the center of town yet surprisingly quiet with beautiful view from the deck and bedrooms. Only caution is to be careful of the low doorways to the kitchen and dining room and a few unexpected steps.

This home is right in the middle of the village of Roussillon - perfect location for a home base to wander, shop, and dine and then explore all the nearby villages. Bedrooms were ample, but twin-bedded room more suitable for kids than two adults sharing. Wonderful terrace for a glass of wine or breakfast, and a great kitchen, full-size refrigerator. Housekeeping was great to respond to any need or question we had. Staircase has no railing, so not so great for kids or older folk. We had all we needed to feel right at home and enjoy the village and explore the area.

The property could easily accommodate 6 people ( 5 in our party ); two bathrooms and a large kitchen make this practical. Patio has excellent views across the valley - great for eating, relaxing with a drink or to enjoy the sunset ! Local shops, excellent bakers open every morning, many cafes and restaurants and of course the ice cream shop next door ! Weather was very hot during our stay ( > 40 C ), else Roussilon is an excellent location to base a holiday in Provence.

In a word, this home is perfect. Not for toddlers, but for anyone wishing to experience the true beauty of this charming and dramatically beautiful village, unique in it's characteristics among all Provencal villages. For it is "after hours", when the tourists have departed (as well as before they arrive), that Roussillon is best enjoyed. And this perfectly elegant and comfortable home allows one this experience. Be sure to get out and enjoy Roussillon "waking up", in the early hours, a unique view of a treasure among Provencal villages. Join the queue when the boulangerie opens at 7:15, to sample the day's gorgeous baked goods. For us, Roussillon house was a perfect "home base" for day trips throughout Provence.

The house is located at the heart of Roussillon, a charming and very popular village in the Provence. Although surrounded by cafes, boutiques and restaurants, it is very quiet so we could sleep peacefully even when a big celebration was happening outside. The house is not appropriate for families with young children. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

L’appartement est spacieux et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Très confortable, parfaitement équipé, il est situé au cœur de Roussillon tout en offrant beaucoup de calme. La terrasse est l’atout majeur. Elle offre une vue magnifique imprenable dont on ne se lasse pas !!! La carte résident qui permet de se garer dans les parkings du village facilite par ailleurs grandement le stationnement. Bref nous vous le recommandons.

Roussilon House è una antica abitazione piena di fascino, sapientemente arredata dalla proprietaria con gusto davvero eccellente! La casa è molto ampia, le camere sono al piano terra e la zona giorno è al primo piano. Il soggiorno si affaccia su un panorama bellissimo e la terrazza è utilizzabile. Le foto rappresentano bene la bellezza del posto. La cucina è molto bene attrezzata e abbiamo cucinato davvero volentieri, pranzando sull'ampio tavolo del soggiorno. Le camere sono confortevoli. Vi sono due bagni, uno al piano sopra e uno al piano sotto. Talvolta vi era poca acqua. Roussillon è un punto strategico per visitare molti altri luoghi nei dintorni. Fra i posti meno noti, a noi è piaciuto L'Isle sur la Surge e Oppede le Vieux. Si arriva in circa un'ora anche a Eix En Provence e ad Avignone. La persona che gestisce gli arrivi degli ospiti, Neassa, è molto professionale e disponibile. Fate attenzione alle scale che vi sono in casa, se alloggiate con bimbi piccoli o anziani. Sono un pò insidiose (soprattutto lo scalino che separa la cucina dal soggiorno).

Après avoir franchi la porte donnant sur une petite place animée, l'intérieur de cette maison possédant une âme "so british" se révèle très agréable avec une belle distribution des pièces... en bonus, une terrasse avec vue sur les ocres de Roussillon, c'est idéal pour les petits déjeuners et dîners ! Juste un petit bémol : accès à pieds avec les bagages... pour cause de rue réservée aux piétons ! Accueil sympathique. Maison bien équipée par ailleurs. À recommander dans tous les cas...

Cette maison est plus que jolie, le titre de l'annonce est modeste. Décoration épurée et élégante, sensation de bien-être et de paix immédiate, vue extraordinaire sur les falaises d'ocres. Les photos sont fidèles, mais sur place, c'est encore mieux !!! Confort optimal, équipements irréprochables, situation dans le village idéale. Parking municipal à disposition. Bref que du positif sur notre séjour dans cette vielle maison de village sublimement restaurée. Je précise que nous étions un couple avec trois enfants de 6 à 12 ans qui, tout comme nous, ont apprécié le cadre de vie, mais aussi les jeux mis à disposition. Le séjour fût trop court (5 jours), tellement de lieux à visiter et de balades à faire dans cette région au printemps. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps pour profiter davantage des environs ET de -la maison, où nous sommes sentis si bien, voire mieux que chez soi.
