About this apartment rental

- For rent in Chalet, a T5 Duplex in wood luxury -

This Duplex 4 bedrooms, storage space is equipped and decorated in the spirit upscale mountain.

- A large lobby welcomes you with bench, console and cupboards.
- A large living room is surrounded by a large wooden deck.
- The kitchen is independent (II, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, dryer, dishwasher etc ...)
- Heated garage for one car and ski locker.

Practical information :

- Shuttle from near the chalet every quarter of an hour leaving you in less than 3 minutes to Gondola Balme and in less than 7 minutes in the village of La Clusaz. This shuttle leaves you space to Confins Nordic (cross-country) in 5 min.

On arrival, the beds are already made !!

Can’t say enough nice things about this lovely comfortable chalet well equipped for a stay. Watch the Fernuy gondola and weather conditions on Balme from the windows and balconies. Quiet chalet with lots of light and views and nice decor. The chalet feels like a family vacation home not a rental. The garage is very nice if you have a car and we also used for ski and luggage storage as it is very deep. Bus stop less than 100 meters. 900 meters from Parking des Chênons at Balme. It is a quick ride from town. Little longer to town because of the one way winter road system. Dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer make this is a great place to stay. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove, oven, and microwave. Lots of dishes and glasses. 2 sets of keys were appreciated. Separate toilets from shower and bathtub make it easy to stay with a number of people. 4 cozy bedrooms (for Americans - 3 with full beds and a bunk room for 3). Also for Americans there is one shower and one bathtub with a sprayer but not really a second shower. We had a toddler in a crib (not provided) and had to turn one of the beds around to make room for a pop up crib (available for rent in town at the dry cleaner). Check in and out with Charlotte was very easy and she promptly responded to the few questions and needs we had. We would love to stay there again when we return to La Clusaz which we intend to do.

Very comfortable chalet with lovely Mountain Views. Close to Balme skiing and bus. 4 nice cozy bedrooms upstairs. Separate toilet and shower/sink upstairs and toilet and tub/sink downstairs. Nicely decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer a huge plus for family.

The apartment was beautiful, well-equipped, warm and comfortable with plenty of room for 7 adults as in our family, or 6 adults with 3 children since one bedroom has a single and a bunk bed. For us being a party of 7 adults, one set of keys presented major logistical problems. A lady met us at the apartment and handed us the only set of keys, leaving her without any so our early start for the return home also caused logistical problems. We had travelled by plane then private taxi so had no transport of our own at the resort. This meant we had to dispose of rubbish using a 15 minute walk down towards the village or walk the equivalent time uphill to the nearest ski lift, the only other option was to take it by bus to the nearest public bins. The last bus back to the Village was at 19:35 except on Thursdays when it was 22:34. The walk home on the first night after eating out in the centre of the village, took us an hour. The apartment is on a circular bus route so the trip to the village was either a 3 minute walk uphill to the bus that carried on up the mountain past Balme to the terminus then back to the village by a higher route, or a 15 minute walk to the next downhill bus stop - that was the best option for skiing from any lift other than Balme (it has no green slopes and is challenging for beginners). Had I known all this, I would have hired a vehicle to get from Geneva Airport to La Cusaz. We had to rent ski lockers to facilitate the walks.
